Had a wonderful time at the HIPP Mommy Meet-Up!

Who says bento baon has to be complicated?

These soft oatmeal pancakes are one of my favorite baon staples because they’re easy to make, filling, and my little one actually enjoys eating them. I like adding a few of HiPP Organic Kindermilk to the batter for a creamier texture, then pair them with fresh fruits for a colorful, balanced bento.

Simple ingredients, a little creativity, and lots of love that’s my recipe for a happy lunchbox. Seeing an empty baon box at the end of the day is always the best feeling!

Eat a Rainbow with Ate Ara’s Request Baon!

Ate Ara requested tonkatsu sushi for today’s baon, so of course, Mom happily made it! 🤭 Packed with crispy tonkatsu, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, and egg it’s a fun way to enjoy more colors in one meal.

I always try to add different-colored veggies whenever I can. The more colorful the lunchbox, the more variety of nutrients our kids get.

Today’s baon is inspired by the hilarious Minions adventure, featuring a goofy one-eyed Minion meeting a funny monster straight out of the movie. It may not look exactly like the big-screen version, but it definitely brought the fun to our lunchbox! 🤭

For my bunso, though, she isn’t a fan of full-on charaben, so food picks to the rescue! 😅 They still match the theme while making her snack more fun and they definitely make mom’s life a whole lot easier!

Because every movie deserves a bento recreation—even if it’s a little quirky!

Minions Movie 2026 fever is here! Today’s lunch stars are James & Henry... or at least that’s what I thought I made!

Every bento is made with lots of love, even if my version looks a little different from the movie characters. That’s part of the fun! My little one still knew who they were, so I’ll call that a win.

Fun Facts:

🍌 James is known for his playful personality and is always ready to jump into a fun adventure.

🍌 Henry may look calm, but he’s just as mischievous as the rest of the Minions when excitement begins!
