✨ ARC REVIEW — With These Hands ✨

This book honestly reminded me of the classic mafia story full of revenge, betrayal, drama, and dark romance.

The writing itself was smooth and really easy to get through, which definitely kept me reading.

I think readers newer to the genre would enjoy this much more, especially if you love:
🖤 mafia romance
🖤 revenge plots
🖤 family betrayal
🖤 emotional drama

ARC REVIEW – The Flame & The Legacy: Part 1
by Pars A.H.

My first ever ARC and what a quiet, poetic journey this was.
This isn’t your typical fast paced fantasy. It’s slow, symbolic, and layered with emotion. A world where silence is enforced, feelings are dangerous, and something ancient is starting to awaken.

🌀 What I loved:
– The atmosphere was eerie and beautiful
– Symbolism like the spiral, the flame, and even the cat 👀
– Chapter 8’s flower moment… it hit unexpectedly deep

🤍 What I struggled with:
– I wished for more emotional depth early on
– Some world-building felt distant and abstract

But still, it stayed with me — and I’m curious to see where Adrian’s story goes next. Thank you Pars A.H. for trusting me with this ARC. 🌸

Because A Little Life isn’t a story about happy endings.

It’s a story about how hard life can be, even when there’s love.

It’s a story about how deeply some wounds go, and how some people, no matter how loved they are, carry a pain that love alone can’t fix.

⭐ 4.5/5

This was one of the hardest books I’ve ever read — emotionally devastating, painfully honest, and deeply, deeply human.

I don’t even know how to fully put my feelings into words.

“A Little Life” shattered me.

Following Jude’s life, carrying his pain, seeing the way trauma leaves marks that love alone sometimes can’t erase — it left me heartbroken.

No matter how much love Jude was given, he couldn’t fully heal, and that was so, so hard to accept.
It made me realize how sometimes, no matter how much someone is loved, their own demons are louder.

"𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓲𝓼 𝓪𝓷 𝓪𝓻𝓻𝓸𝔀. 𝓘𝓽 𝓭𝓮𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓼 𝓪𝓲𝓶 𝓽𝓸 𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓮.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 6 star.

This duology was a six-star experience for me. Leigh Bardugo delivered everything—heists, heartbreak, found family, and characters so real they feel like a part of me now.

Kaz Brekker’s cleverness was unmatched, and watching the relationships between the crew evolve was so rewarding. Their banter, their trust, their struggles—it all felt real. I loved seeing them grow stronger together, overcoming impossible odds while still carrying their scars.

And Crooked Kingdom? It broke me in the best way. The stakes were higher, the emotions deeper, and the pain real. Matthias’ death hit so hard, but it made the story even more unforgettable. The sadness, the triumphs, and the bittersweet ending—it was all perfect in its own way.

This isn’t just a story about a heist; it’s a story about survival, second chances, and finding your people. If you love brilliant characters, high-stakes action, and moments that make your heart ache in the best way, Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom are must-reads.q

What is the series you are afraid of reading?

I have never read any R.F. Kuang book before, but after reading this series, I felt like she is one of my favorite authors. I never knew someone could write like this. The world-building, character development, everything was written in a way that makes you think that a person can write like this. I love this series, but this series also makes me feel gross at some points. The war scenes and the lack of humanity is gruesome.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
