Dolly Parton was a legend. In addition to being an immensely talented singer-songwriter, she was one of the greatest humanitarians and philanthropists of our time. Her Imagination Library has gifted more than 300 million books to children worldwide. She also donated millions of dollars toward pediatric care, and played a major role in funding and advocating for the Covid-19 vaccine. And she was a staunch supporter of the LGBTQ+ community all throughout her life.
Rest in peace, Dolly. — “I can see the light of a clear blue morning I can see the light of brand new day I can see the light of a clear blue morning And everything's gonna be all right It's gonna be okay” — #DollyParton #streetart #wheatpaste #RochesterNY by @dellarious

Happy F̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ Second Day of Spring! Apparently Mother Nature still hasn’t gotten the memo. But, at least it’s not raining today. And that seems like reason to celebrate! 🌱🌸🌈✨ Please feel free to help yourself to a sticker, postcard, or print at the corner of Vick B & East. ONE item per person for maximum spread of spring cheer, please and thank you! And as always, please do something kind for somebody else in return ☮️❤️😃♻️ by @dellarious
What is happening across our country, particularly in Minneapolis, is heartbreaking and unacceptable. ICE tears families apart and instills fear in our communities. It does nothing to make our streets safer; it exists to divide us and distract us from the real systemic threats. ICE’s actions are shameful, immoral, and go against everything America should stand for. It is a cruel deception: those consumed by greed convince those blinded by hatred to blame those guided by dreams. Together, we will make it stop. #AbolishICE by @dellarious
Rest in peace, Bob Weir. No music has shaped my life and touched my soul more than the songbook and the community of The Grateful Dead, and Bob Weir is such an integral part of that magic. He had a presence and an aura that truly can't be put into words. Thank you for bringing so much love and wisdom and joy to so many people for so many years, Bobby. Fare thee well, now... 🌹⚡️❤️‍🔥 #BobWeir #GratefulDead #TheMusicNeverStopped by @dellarious

National Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off on September 15th, and this year I am honored to team up with International Plaza and the City of Rochester to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture. Hispanic Heritage Month reminds us that inclusion and shared history build unity, not division. People of Hispanic descent are our neighbors, our friends, and our co-workers; we are all members of the same community and we all deserve the same respect. Prints and postcards of these designs will be available FOR FREE tomorrow, Sunday 9/14, at The International Plaza’s Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff event. The event runs from 1pm to 5pm, and there will be a table set up next to this installation for you to grab a print or postcard of your choosing. There will also be food vendors, music, and more. Come celebrate! I also want to give a shout out and huge thank you to @jasonbarber82 for helping to put this project together. Thanks, Jason! — “We must use our lives to make the world a better place to live, not just to acquire things. That is what we are put on the earth for.” - Dolores Huerta — “I don’t believe we should bend the Constitution under any circumstance. It says what it says. We should do honor to it.” - Sonia Sotomayor (Note: See the 5th and 14th Amendments) — “I want people to be safe and protected. I want to live on the right side of history." - Pedro Pascal — #HispanicHeritageMonth #streetart #wheatpaste #Rochester #RochesterNY #dellarious by @dellarious
