POSTS STORIES REELS

I can’t lie I’m still processing all of this 🤯 The New York Knicks are NBA Champions 🏀🏆

As a real Knicks fan watching this team from a little boy, rooting them on through the highs and lows… boy were there a lot of lows 😳 This season’s team just seemed different. They looked different and played different. That’s when I focused on the lessons. Lol as a Dad I’m always looking for the lesson in things.

When I was younger the Knicks taught me to accept that you may not always get what you want but working hard will at least get you closer…A lesson for grit, grounding, resolve and the reality that sometimes things won’t go your way.

This season’s team reminded and reinforced that lesson but brought some more lessons to the table:
- That every plan should have a plan B and C…it’s ok to pivot and throw new ideas at old problems.
- That you are never too small for the moment.. no matter what people think or say
-That a rough start does not dictate your ending. - To always attack your problems, one possession at a time; pace is key.
-The friends you make and keep are important to your future, choose wisely
- Lastly, getting older can be your strongest advantage…it breeds wisdom and instincts 💪🏾

Congrats to the New York Knicks, you can do anything you put your mind to..glad I could share this win and the lessons with my kids 🏆🏀❤️ #newyorkknicks #knickstape #knicksin5‼️🗽🔷🔶 by @delmadethis
