It’s been a long time since I’ve shared any new music creations.
The last couple of years have been the hardest of my life. Loss and grief crashed me out and I’m still trying to make sense of a world that often feels heavier by the day.

Somewhere in all of that, song ideas started showing up. This one is called “Dark Times.”
It’s just a groove and a chorus…Far from a finished piece, but sometimes you don’t wait until the painting is done to show people you’re finally painting again.
I’m not trying to release an album or anything official, this is simply my attempt to remind myself that hope isn’t something you find. It’s something you choose.
Making music uplifts my soul and gives the pain a place to transform into something else.

Still writing.
Still building.
Still smiling.

50 years around the sun today.

Still creating.
Still learning.
Still betting on instinct.
Still chasing the feeling over the formula.

I’ve lived enough life to know the best moments usually don’t come from the plan. They come from the people, the risks, the late nights, the music, the chaos, the love, the failures, the comeback stories, and the random conversations that somehow change everything.

I’m grateful for every chapter.
The wins.
The bruises.
The art.
The lessons.
The ones still here.
And the ones I carry with me every day.

50 doesn’t feel like the end of something.
Feels like I actually know who I am now.

Today marks year 2 since we lost my mom.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think about her… Her kindness, her warmth, the way she made everyone feel special and her loving way that me feel that I mattered. She had that kind of spirit that is far too rare in this world, genuine, down to earth, and full of love.

There’s a space she filled that can’t be replaced, but somehow her presence is still everywhere. In the way I move, the way I treat people, the little things I catch myself doing that I know came straight from her.

I miss her. I carry her with me. And I’m grateful for every moment I got.
