we welcomed 19 new members home!! we had such a fun time getting to know them and celebrating an incredible recruitment weekend 🌺

✨It’s Meet Exec Monday, and there’s only three more Mondays until recruitment, so let’s meet our Vice President of Membership, @sofiia.gonzalezz !!✨

Hi everyone!
I can’t believe it has been almost 3 years since I ran home to Delta Gamma! I chose DG to find a community and sense of belonging as I navigated this new life for myself, over 2000+ miles from home in California. Little did I know, this chapter would be the place where I could be my most vulnerable self and be supported by sisters at any time, a sisterhood event or a late night facetime call. With constantly moving pieces in life, DG has been my most stable part of college. It has motivated me to be the best version of myself and a good role model for my little Amelia and grandlittle Meghan. Being constantly surrounded by a group of women who uplift me, it’s so easy to continue choosing DG throughout these past 3 years. Although I am entering my senior year, I know I have made timeless friendships through DG that will stay with me throughout all my next chapters in life.

To the PNMs reading this, I hope you enter this recruitment season with an open mind as you begin to navigate this new beginning! We are so excited to hear your stories and for us to share the sisterhood that means so much to us!

🤍 Why DG Wednesday with big/little duo Ryen and Liliana! 🤍

I first talked to Liliana during recruitment, and I instantly knew we would be friends. I was so excited when she ran home to Delta Gamma, and I am so lucky to call her my little. She has quickly become such a constant in my life and I genuinely don’t know what I’d do without her. She is a bright light in every room she walks into and truly embodies every part of our sisterhood and what it means to be a DG. I will be forever grateful that Delta Gamma introduced me to such an incredible soul. I love you always Liliana! 🩵

I was so nervous about going through recruitment as a transfer but I talked to Ryen and immediately felt so at peace with DG. Flash forward to going through big little and I knew that Ryen was going to be my big after our first coffee date. Now, we live together, work together, and are on CMT together and I could not be more grateful to have her in my life. Everyone needs a Ryen and I’m so grateful DG gave me mine 🩷
