For when you need a laugh, a little cry, and a reminder that life can be both.

This mostly independent, international selection brings together offbeat comedies, tender coming-of-age stories, and bittersweet dramas about family, friendship, loneliness, and finding your place in the world. These films find humor in life’s messiness, then sneak up on you with a moment that hits right in the feels. 🎬 by @deltanz

I’m so grateful to have been invited to join the jury of another film festival in the UK.

After years of studying and working with gender and queer cinema, it feels especially rewarding to judge categories connected to these themes and discover more artists and their incredible work.

I’m honoured to be part of the PRIFF jury this year, and I can’t wait to join you all very soon! by @deltanz

Still thinking about the epic journey of The Odyssey?

For this edition of 5 SHORTS TO WATCH, we're diving into stories inspired by mythology, transformation, revenge, and the search for purpose.

From Ancient Greece to modern-day struggles, these five shorts feature heroes confronting impossible challenges, old myths finding new meaning, and journeys that transform the people who take them.

Because every journey has its monsters. Some are mythical, some are painfully real, and some are the battles we carry within ourselves.

What do you watch after you finish a film or series and want more of the same feeling?

That's the idea behind our series 5 SHORTS TO WATCH.

You get carefully curated recommendations, quick context, and direct links to watch. Most of these films are under 20 minutes, but they'll stay with you long after they're over.

Today, we're taking inspiration from The Invite.

This episode is all about emotional pressure cookers. Expect awkward dinners, simmering resentment, passive-aggressive humour, and relationships pushed to their breaking point. These are stories where one room, a few people, and the wrong conversation are all it takes for everything to unravel.

Still wandering the endless corridors of Backrooms?

Then this episode of 5 SHORTS TO WATCH is for you.

If the film left you fascinated by liminal spaces, found footage, and the creeping feeling that reality is quietly breaking apart, we've picked five short films that capture that same unsettling atmosphere.

Expect impossible architecture, uncanny places, analog horror, and nightmares hiding in the most ordinary spaces.

Same feeling. Different voices. Much less time to watch.
