After one full week of listening sessions with @deoron, @radiance.de and @restless___r / @restless.audio I’m leaving with a very full heart.

It reminded me how necessary intimate, focused listening spaces have become. A space to slow down, really listen, disconnect from everything around us, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.

I’m especially proud that we were able to give people the chance to perform who had never played before, and to create a room where everyone could simply share, listen and be present.

I’m incredibly proud of everyone who took part, and deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, performed, supported and shaped these moments with us.

Now I’m off for two weeks of holidays, taking some time to let everything we experienced sink in, and to think about where and how this can continue.

Ambient is the future.

THE SLOW WEATHER

A 3-Hour Sound Installation by @radiance.de & @restless.audio

Composition & Performance by @deltarain____ & @vicsilverss

The Slow Weather frames sound as a non-human climatic force, reconfiguring the room from a container for performance into an autonomous acoustic territory.

Drawing on the concept of hyperobjects, the work operates outside conventional temporal narrative. Sound is treated not as a vehicle for musical expression, but as material geology in a state of continuous, imperceptible transformation. Low-frequency resonance, mineral friction, and suspended environmental debris accumulate like micro-climates, shifting the focus from listening as an act of interpretation to listening as total environmental immersion.

Over three hours, the installation dissolves the divide between subject and surroundings. The room is no longer an audience hall, but an ecosystem governed by acoustic weight, ambient pressure, and slow, structural decay. by @deltarain____
