It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our beloved Delta Zeta sisters, Tessa Young. Tessa, our VP Membership, brought so much light, love, and positivity into all of our lives.

She had the brightest spirit and always went out of her way to make others feel cared for. Tessa truly embodied what it means to be a Delta Zeta, and our sisterhood will never be the same without her.

We are holding her parents, brothers, and loved ones close in our hearts and sending them all of our love. We will continue to honor Tessa in everything we do.

We love you always, Tessa 💜 by @deltazetacsuf

DZ DUO W/ @trinitibooker & @22_julianna_ 🌸🩰

“We met at pinning and were chill at first, but little did I know one group beach trip would change literally everything🩷 Between me dropping her phone in the water, her making all the food, and me vlogging the entire thing, we somehow became inseparable and realized how much we have in common between music, movies, and doom scrolling to hobbies, personality, and and humor💕. Jules has helped me open up, become more confident in myself, and feel understood in ways I can’t even explain. She’s the person who finishes my sentences, understands me without me having to explain myself, and would let me show up at her house at 1am without a second thought. I know Jules will forever show up for me and be in my corner and I’ll always love her for it. Even living in Sac didn’t stop me from driving to see her our first summer apart, because some people are just worth every mile. Forever grateful pinning and the beach brought me my best friend 🫶🏼”
-Trini

“I first met Trini at pinning when I asked her to take a group picture in front of our infamous mirror, where we still take pictures to this day! We got super close on a beach trip where she was recording everything and accidentally let my phone go for a little swim 😭💗 One of my favorite memories is driving around for almost four hours with no destination, talking about our past, future, and brain-rotting our way through life until our spirits were lifted. We’re truly two peas in a pod, understanding each other with just a look, and she’s taught me that sharing my emotions is never a burden but a strength. No distance could ever change our bond because she’s not only my sister but one of my very best friends. 🥹💕”

MEET THE EXEC MONDAY W/ @briana_helgueros 🌸🤍

“Being Vice President of Programming for Delta Zeta has genuinely been one of my favorite parts of being in DZ. I love getting to plan events and create memories that bring all of our sisters closer together, while also getting to put my own creativity into everything we do. This position has taught me so much about leadership, communication, organization, and honestly how to handle anything that gets thrown my way. I’ve grown so much because of this role, and I’m so grateful that I get to give back to a chapter that has given me so many friendships, memories, and people I can always count on. DZ truly is so special, and I couldn’t imagine spending my college experience anywhere else. 💗”

Preference Round with Delta Zeta ♡

Preference Round will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We had the opportunity to share some of the most personal parts of our sisterhood and what Delta Zeta truly means to each of us.

To everyone who spent Preference with us, thank you for listening to our stories, sharing yours, and allowing us to show you a little piece of the sisterhood we love so much.
