From raw edge to timeless architecture.

There’s something incredible about watching heavy, weathered blocks transformed into refined, iconic structures. Portland Stone has shaped Britain’s most famous landmarks for centuries - and it all starts right here in the rough, jagged expanse of the quarry.

The Origin: Unrefined, rugged, and carved directly from the earth.

The Craft: Precision cutting, masonry expertise, and centuries of tradition.

The Result: Smooth, elegant stone built to withstand for generations.

We recently published a deep dive on this incredible journey on our blog, covering everything from extraction to the final architectural details.

There is something undeniably striking about Nero Marquina quartz. Featuring a deep, dark background paired with sharp, organic white veining, it transforms a simple kitchen layout into a true architectural centerpiece.

We paired this waterfall island and matching full-height backsplash with matte black cabinetry and warm wood accents to keep the space grounded, sophisticated, and inviting.

Your space, your rules. Hex porcelain tiles give you the ultimate canvas to mix, match, and lay out patterns on your own terms. Fade from dark to light, create custom geometric borders, or throw in a sudden pop of color. How would you lay these out?

Colour is important!!

Not only because of how it looks - will you be able to stand on your beautiful new flooring barefoot at the height of summer? Argos keeps cool by looking cool on his own limestone patio, and as the days heat up in summer you'll want to think about the temperature of your patio.

At Deluco, we strive to advise on the aesthetic, but also beyond the aesthetic: the functional.

- Is your walnut flooring going to be safe from your dog's claws?
- What's the difference between hardwood and engineered wood flooring?
- Is polished marble a slip hazard in the rain?
- Will 3mm thick porcelain slab be properly supported on your kitchen units?

We ask a lot of questions when helping to specify for your project because our own experience with finishing materials means you don't have to learn the hard way. We want you to know what we know when you make your final decisions.

Ask us a question!
