POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We waste so much energy going back and forth, debating frivolous issues, while remaining completely disengaged from the culture we are called to be salt and light to.
-
Christians HAVE to stop sitting out elections. We must get involved. We take our privilege to have a say in the moral direction of our nation for granted. This is our duty as ambassadors of Christ. To do all that we can to see His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Vote against perversion. Vote against death. Vote against religious persecution, vote against Islam, vote against secularism, vote against wickedness. Or force your children to live in a country that we willingly let fall to the enemy with our indifference.

Don’t fall for the false superiority. Those kinds of leaders are COWARDS. Who live for the applause of man and not the pleasure of the Lord! by @demarithompson

Jesus is Jewish, descended from Judah (Hebrews 7:14), and our risen Savior is still called the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5). The prophets of Israel and the twelve apostles were Jewish. Romans 11:18 warns Gentile believers against arrogance toward Israel, and 1 John 4:20 exposes the contradiction of claiming to love God while hating a brother. Antisemitism has no place in Christianity. Love Jewish people. Pray for them. Stand against the hate. by @demarithompson

Jesus Christ is not one of many ways to God. HE IS GOD. He is not merely a prophet, a good teacher, or a religious figure. He is the eternal Son of God, the Word made flesh, the King of kings and Lord of lords. No other name can save you. No other name has conquered sin and death. No other name is worthy of all glory, honor, and worship. Jesus Himself declared, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6, ESV). And Acts 4:12 makes it clear that salvation is found in no one else. The world can call that narrow, offensive, or intolerant, but the truth doesn’t change to accommodate culture. JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, AND EVERY KNEE WILL BOW BEFORE HIM. Philippians 2:10–11. by @demarithompson

I love Israel. It’s the birthplace of my faith. It’s where God manifest his power in magnificent ways. It’s the place where my savior walked. It’s the place where my savior died for my sins and rose from the grave. It’s the place where he established his church and ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of the father, and it’s the place where he will return again to judge the living and the dead and take his bride home.

I will always love Israel, because God loves Israel. by @demarithompson

When I look at this lost generation. The perversion. The addiction, the depravity. The debased minds living entirely for personal gratification. I can’t help but remember the hippie movement that sparked a Jesus revolution. Our culture is so lost and broken, but I see the perfect stage for revival.

God would you do it again! 🙏🏾 by @demarithompson

The world attacks our pastors and leaders enough. We don’t need to join them.

I was 9 years old when “The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe” came out. And that was the day I fell in love with Christian storytelling. Here was this beautiful, well produced, blockbuster CHRISTIAN film. It transformed my view of Christ. For the first time I understood the beauty, the strength, the love, and the might of my savior on a unique level.
-
Now I have children of my own. And we’ve watched the original trilogy together and have had conversations as a family about the deeply biblical messaging.
-
It makes me sad that a new Narnia is coming out that doesn’t have that same level of respect for the biblical truth that Lewis wanted to teach to young audiences.
-
We as the church need to be more intentional about protecting and utilizing our own material. God gave us an abundance of incredible story’s to tell. Let’s stop letting them sit on the shelf. Waiting for the world to get to it first. Let’s get to work!! by @demarithompson

The liquor store you see in the background is basically a historical landmark from my childhood community. So many people have been murdered right there. My house was 2 minutes up the road.

Everything I am today should not be my reality. BUT GOD!

So excuse me if I don’t freak out over spelling errors. I’m too busy praising God that I get to live this beautiful life! by @demarithompson

I don’t care to push for a big following. In fact I’d prefer to not have one. I’m just a servant who loves his King and desires to see His truth reform my country. My shoulders aren’t built for the weight of influence that comes with a massive following. Let’s be for real…I’d ruin it.

But my knees are built to bow. And my arms are built to be raised. So that’s what I will do. Whatever my king does from there is up to him.

I’m just a kid from the west. I’m just a son.

Thank you all for liking what I do enough to follow. May God bless you all!

My only mission in this life is to listen for his voice. And when he speaks, I obey. by @demarithompson
