The days are long, but the years are short.

When I was 9, I told my mom I was going to be a doctor. I also told her I’d be Miss Ghana 2020 and a fashion designer. One of those dreams ended up coming true. I’ve completed residency and I’m now an attending psychiatrist.

This journey has been many years in the making. There were late nights, missed events, tears, and self-doubt, but also countless opportunities to learn, experience new things, meet incredible colleagues, and make a difference in the lives of my patients.
