DEEEETROIT ROCK CITY (aka the Center of the Universe). @kings.command set it off right then @hitechdetroit got everyone’s ass shaking with the help of @mayorofhardcore following that @ceremony managed to change the Earth’s orbit and then brought out @realjohnbrannon cover @iggypopofficial and demolished the entire place, and then finally @turnstileluvconnection put on a transcendental performance that was life changing.

The amount of crowd participation and PMA at this show was unreal. 2026 has had some of the best shows I have ever seen. Let’s keep this energy up!

TONITE! ST is tearing it up at @standrewshall with the Cro-Mags, and New World Man! This band is unbelievably important to me. One of the first bands to describe mental and social struggles I’ve faced my entire life in a way that clicked and made me realize that plenty of other people have the same have the same issues. Other bands like Black Flag with “Can’t Decide” explained to me what I couldn’t explain to myself and definitely wouldn’t try to explain to anyone else. Beyond some of their messages they are so much fun and I am #stillcyco after all these years!

Enoki Avocado “Toast”. I’ve had this idea for about two years and this was my first attempt. I was so happy to finally find enoki that I didn’t care that my avocado was unripe(also I wanted to use Furikake, but only had Togarashi 🤷). Beyond that I love fried mushrooms so this was quite the treat. I’m definitely going to make this again.

Also, this would have gone triple platinum in a gentrified neighborhood circa 2013. Ya snooze ya lose I guess by @demerder.mi

TONITE @mychemicalromance and @iggypopofficial at Comerica Park in Deeeetroit. It’s a funny story I helped my sister(there was a whole team) get the tix and while they were put in the thousands in the queue I was only 300 so I was able to snag GA and then the same day the same thing happened with getting her a primo seat for their show in LA. Scalpers can get fucked. Also, repping D-Bloc. Go listen to their new song and order their album. taken in Comerica Park by @demerder.mi

Today’s lunch: Branzino Ceviche with plantain chips. Please excuse the quality of pictures. This bowl looks pretty bad on camera. This was absolutely delicious, but my sashimi skills need some work(and a proper knife 😂). I’ve always liked the idea of a “rose” shaped ceviche, but I’ll definitely need a fish with a thicker loin next time(they didn’t have any red snapper). by @demerder.mi
