So proud to share that my daughter Demetris is stepping into her first lead role on Lifetime, starring alongside the beautiful April Hale and the incomparable Vivica A. Fox.

She plays Denise in “The Wrong Housemaid,” premiering August 28. Watching her bring this character to life, a teenager caught in the middle of her mother’s fight to protect their family, was such a proud moment to witness.

Mark your calendars for August 28 and tune in to see her shine.

Wow! I saw this movie last night and it was simply breathtaking. It was super scary, but what I loved was the underlying message around love, loss, and self worth. The cast and crew rocked this film! Laya the lead character was phenomenal! She took me with her on an emotional rollercoaster! I can’t wait to hear the acceptance speeches once the nominations and awards come rolling in! But first, let’s go see the movie and support these beautiful minds who left everything on the floor. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. Keep going, I am so proud! ❤️💙🩷 by @demetriss2
