As a part of CityPoint Church’s 21 Days of Economic Impact, we’ve partnered with NuMark Credit Union @numarkcu to provide $50 inside a free savings account for Chicago kids. This no strings attached initiative is meant to foster the bedrock habit of wealth building in the next generation - saving. Our other impact initiatives include: “Buy Black Saturdays,” “Savings Sundays,” and 10% of tithes and offerings on 4/13 will go to a local school. Love isn’t just something we show as performance, it’s something we LIVE out! ❤️

We can have all the gifts, talents, and knowledge in the world, but without love, we miss the very heart of what it means to follow Christ.

God calls us to a love that is patient, kind, selfless, and intentional. A love that goes beyond words and shows up in how we serve, forgive, and care for one another.

✨ Love isn’t just what we do. It’s who we’re called to be.

Catch the full sermon from this past Sunday on our YouTube channel! 🎥

For many of us, faith was introduced through someone else — a parent, grandparent, family member, or church community. We inherited the stories. We learned the traditions. We watched someone else believe. 🙏🏽

But eventually, the faith that was passed down has to become personal.

This Sunday, Pastor D challenged us to move beyond simply knowing the faith of those who came before us and begin walking with God for ourselves. What was theirs can become yours. 🙌🏾
