It’s never just about the big moments, is it? 🥹🌙

It’s the way he stands guard while she bathes, never once making her feel vulnerable.

Or the way she soothes the nightmares he refuses to speak about.

Or the way he tends her wounds, his hands gentler than either of them expected and his body littered with its own injuries.

Two people from opposing worlds, finding safety in the very person they were taught to fear. 😭🤍

If you love a slow burn where the smallest acts of devotion mean everything, I think you’ll love Lysara and Kael. 🐺✨

What’s your favourite kind of quiet intimacy in a romance? 👀💓

BLURB ✨

In Elarion, fae and wolfkin once existed together in peace.

Then the Gods fell silent.

As fae magic began to fade and corrupted creatures emerged across the realm, the two kinds turned against one another. Centuries of fear, suspicion and war followed.

Now, Lysara, the fae princess of Luminara and Kael, a wolfkin of the Stormfang clan have begun to hear something impossible.

Whispers from the Gods.

As corruption spreads across Elarion and something ancient begins to awaken, the two enemies are forced onto a journey to uncover what the whispers mean — and why they alone can hear them.

But ancient Gods aren’t the only thing awakening.

Between a princess who should never trust him and a wolfkin who should never want her, something far more dangerous begins to grow.

Because sometimes the thing that can destroy a realm is the very thing you cannot resist.

The stolen glances. The reluctant companions. The forbidden love. The feeling that two people were always destined to find one another.

If these couples have your heart, I’d love you to meet Lysara & Kael.

Today the incredibly talented and fabulous birthday girl @demi.bates.author opened the portal of us to enter Elarion ✨️

Step aside DragonKind, it's time for us to find out our Fae Dominions and Wolf Clans 🐺

The Wolf and The Star is the first installment in the Fatewoven Series ✨️

In Elarion fae and wolfkin existed together peacefully for centuries When the Gods of the realm fell silent suddenly, each side saw their roles become harder. Fae magic depleted and Wolfkin faced more strange, corrupted threats walking the realm.
Over time, a divide began that separated the two, war broke out and both sides made up their own reasons for the Gods silence.

Both sides blamed the other.

Centuries later, the fae pinrcess of Luminara and a wolfkin from the Stormfang clan both begin to hear the impossible...

Whispers from the Gods.

Corruption spreads across Elarion that threatens both sides, and something is awakening, Together, they must go on a journey to understand what the whispers are saying, and why only they can hear them.

But will it be the palpitating tension that lingers between them that ends up shattering the realm after all?

🌙✨ THE PORTAL TO ELARION IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! ✨🌙

Welcome to Elarion, the realm of my upcoming romantasy series, Fatewoven. 🐺🌟

🔗 THE PORTAL IS OPEN — JUST CLINK ON MY LINKTREE! Or here: https://enterelarion.carrd.co

Today, I’m SO excited (and a little emotional 🥹) to finally share something I’ve been working incredibly hard on behind the scenes…

A WEBSITE DEDICATED ENTIRELY TO ELARION! 🖤

Not an author website, but a little doorway into the world I’ve created. Somewhere you can explore the lore, discover the fae dominions and wolfkin clans, meet some of the characters, and begin to uncover the secrets of the realm before The Wolf and the Star is even released!

And because apparently I can’t do anything by halves… 🤣

🔮 THERE ARE TWO INTERACTIVE QUIZZES, TOO!

Discover where YOU belong in Elarion through The Choosing and The Calling. Will fate lead you to one of the wolfkin clans, or will you find your place amongst the fae dominions?

These were actually a surprise addition to the website, thanks to a wonderful suggestion from @just.shalene.reading, and they’ve turned into one of the most fun (and time-consuming 🤣) things I’ve created!

This world means more to me than I can properly put into words. For so long, Elarion has existed only in my head, in endless notes, and in the pages of a story I’ve poured so much of myself into. Being able to open its doors and invite other people inside feels a little surreal.

And getting to do that on my birthday? Well, I couldn’t have wished for a better way to celebrate. 🥹✨

To my wonderful Fatebound Circle, thank you for being the first to step through the portal, for testing the quizzes, sharing your feedback, and cheering me on through every little step. Your excitement has made this whole experience even more magical. 🖤

NOW, I WANT TO KNOW WHERE FATE PLACES YOU! 👀

Take the quizzes, screenshot your results, and share your clan or dominion to your stories! Please tag me so I can see where you’ve ended up. I’d absolutely LOVE to see who belongs where! 🐺🌙

Welcome to Elarion. Your story within the realm begins here. 🌟

🌙✨ THE PORTAL OPENS TOMORROW… ✨🌙

But it seems a few curious souls have already found their way through… 👀🔮

And not only have they discovered the secrets of Elarion, they’ve found where they belong within the realm, too. 🐺🌟

Tomorrow, it will be YOUR turn.

I’ve been working SO hard behind the scenes to bring this little piece of my imagination to life, and I cannot wait to finally share it with you all! 🥹🖤

Explore the realm. Uncover its secrets. Discover where fate has placed you.

Will you answer the Calling? Will you face the Choosing?

The portal opens 11.10.2026. ✨

(And yes, I really do mean October this time, not September… if you saw my original teaser, no you didn’t 🤣)

✨ He’s had his moment. Now it’s HER turn. ✨

You heard from Kael in an earlier post. Now he’s some moments from our FMC! Which one is your favourite? And more importantly… are you Team Lysara or Team Kael so far? 🤭

A LITTLE REMINDER…👀

The portal to Elarion opens THIS SUNDAY, 11.10.2026! 🌌

Yes, October. Not September, as my teaser trailer would have you believe. Apparently, I was so excited to welcome you all into Elarion that I accidentally opened the portal a month early. 🤣

Only TWO DAYS until you can step into the realm I’ve been building behind the scenes. I can’t wait for you to explore it. 🙈🐺✨

Some of you have already stepped through the portal… 👀

My street team have had early access to something I’ve been working ridiculously hard on behind the scenes, and watching them explore it has made keeping it from the rest of you VERY difficult. 😂🖤

I wanted to create somewhere you could experience more of The Wolf & The Star before release. Somewhere you could venture deeper into Elarion and discover pieces of the world that I could never fit into a single social post.

The magic.
The Fae Dominions.
The Wolfkin Clans.
The history.
The secrets.

And perhaps a few things I’m still not telling you about yet… 👀

This Sunday, you will get to finally see and explore it for yourself.

I chose 11th October for a reason, too — it’s my birthday! 🥹🎂

And with The Wolf & The Star coming early next year, I honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate than opening the gates to this world I’ve spent so long creating and finally inviting all of you inside. 🖤

So consider this my little birthday celebration with you — I have a feeling Elarion might have a few surprises waiting once you get there… ✨

✦ THE PORTAL OPENS 11.10.26 ✦

What are you hoping to find beyond it? 👀

Finally, SHE’S the 150+ year old immortal 👀

A desperate Fae princess following whispers from the Gods.

A 32-year-old Wolfkin who has been hearing those same whispers and looking for a way out.

And an instant, inexplicable pull toward each other that might have a little less to do with attraction (although there’s plenty of that…) and a lot more to do with why the Gods brought them together in the first place. 👀

Forbidden lovers. Forced proximity. Prophecies. Yearning. And two people who really, really shouldn’t want each other.

Also — I have HEARD you about the character artwork!! 🥹 I’m so happy you’ve been loving seeing them come to life, because I may have already commissioned more… 👀 @anaa_inks is going to work her magic again and this time bring to life a scene from the book 🤭

What if you didn’t have to wait until release day to enter Elarion? 👀

You’ve heard about Elarion, the realm The Wolf and the Star is set in. 🐺✨Soon, I’m finally going to let you inside…

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on something for The Wolf & The Star, and I’m finally at the point where I can start sharing it with you.

With release coming early next year (official date reveal coming soon 👀), I’ve been thinking a lot about how I can make the build-up to publication feel like more than simply posting snippets, tropes and character teasers.

I’ve spent so long creating Elarion. Including its magic, its Gods, its history, its Fae Dominions, its Wolfkin clans and all the secrets buried between them. I really want you to be able to experience some of that world before you ever turn the first page. 🤭

So… I’ve been building something. 🖤

My street team have already been given an early glimpse behind the curtain, and their reactions have made me even more excited to finally open it up to everyone. 🙈

I’m keeping exactly what it is a secret for a little longer…

But you’ll be able to explore.
You’ll be able to uncover.
And you might even discover where you belong in Elarion. 👀

The portal opens Sunday 11th October…

✦ The Gods have begun to whisper.
Will you answer? ✦

Tell me below — are you stepping through? 👀
