Best meal of the trip: parmigiana melanzana & trapanese buiscate (almond & garlic pesto) I could eat this meal everyday for the rest of my life.

Quiet is not in my family’s vocabulary. We were shushed so many times for laughing. Are we surprised? No. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love you guys so much 🫂

All the vineyards were fully booked or closed on Sunday. So we found a place that let us make our own tasting. Best wine of the trip. Grillo grape mixed with wine from ancient vines, aged 5 years to create a deliciously mineralized, yet dry sparkling wine. No sugar added.

A Belated Birthday Reflection

This year, the Universe cradled me in her gentle disruption, and God pressed his pause with intention.

My phone gave out on my birthday,
on the way to the final Mysteryland.
Locked out of everything,
I was handed what I didn’t know I needed:
a digital phone detox turned divine reset.

Armed with a guest list from Sam @dj.blue.elephant
a 360 camera, and a wild intuitive compass,
I wandered, yet not lost.

Strangers became reflections
Borrowed phones became bridges
Presence became the gift.

I found the crew, met new souls,
letting joy point the way forward.

I turned another year older…
Accepted aging dancingly in return
Growing older but growing inward.

The last decade was an unearthing.
I shed narratives that were never mine.
Gave pain a name. Cleared the noise
and finally heard something steady:
my own voice.

I discovered that love without control is rare,
and real support says, “I believe in you,” not
“I hope you don’t fail.”

Learning boundaries are sacred, not selfish
Discernment offers peace, not suspicion,
and light needs direction in order to shine
without depletion.

I learned that not all vulnerability is sincere.
Not every open hand comes without cost.
Some chances are simply veiled extraction.

Still, I learned we must stay open.
Not in naivety, but in refinement
Cause wisdom should not taste of bitterness.
As ❤️ is shaped by truth.

The only things I miss about California: Family, our Dogs, and Food. And yeah I guess the weather is ok... Also, there is a new dude in town who actually stole my whole heart. He is the sweetest, funniest, little dragon & he doesn’t know it yet but we’re gonna be homies for life. I love you Lumen. Kenz & Phil-- I couldn’t be more proud to call you my siblings, you guys are f*cking doing it. Always here to support you & hang with that boy you made. Life will never be the same & I’m so here for it ❤️‍🔥 Big ups to my parents, the OGs, who have made this trip possible & love us all unconditionally.
