Six months of holding myself accountable by putting something on the calendar and showing up for myself every single month. While this may not work for everyone, it worked extremely well for me to have something to not only look forward to but know that there was something I needed to accomplish that required me to get up and see it through every single day. Some pictures of the following: January — Magic 5K in Orlando February — Best Damn Race 10K - Lake EolaMarch — Winter Park Road Race, 2 milesApril — 200 miles across SpainMay — 40-mile bike tour through NYCJune — Mastercard Mini 10K - Central Park NYCNone of this was about being the fastest or the best. It was about proving to myself that I can keep going, keep evolving, and keep choosing myself. Some months looked like running. Some looked like biking. One looked like walking across an entire country. But every month required me to commit, trust myself, and follow through. I’m really proud of this version of me!! And the next six months? I have some very exciting stuff very soon!! Hit me up if you wanna do some training 😝 by @demikorrin

One of the goals I set for myself this year was to work with brands that genuinely align with who I am and the communities I care about. So getting the opportunity to play music for the women softball players at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex with Adidas was a pretty special moment. 💙⚾️Movement, community, and creating spaces that bring people together have become such a big part of my life. To be able to contribute to that energy through music felt like a full-circle moment.Thank you Adidas and the Jackie Robinson Training Complex for the opportunity. Grateful for every step of this journey and excited to see what other doors open this year. ✨ #latepost by @demikorrin

The beginning of a two-week journey that would end up changing me in ways I couldn’t yet understand.I was excited, nervous, curious… honestly, I had no idea what to expect. Looking back, that feeling of stepping into the unknown is one I’ll hold close forever.Along the roads and sidewalks, you’ll find the scallop shell markers that guide pilgrims to Santiago. On this first day, I followed those shells nearly 25 kilometers (about 15.5 miles) out of the city. As the miles passed, the landscape slowly transformed. The city streets disappeared behind me, replaced by rolling countryside, quiet villages, and a pace of life that felt completely different.By the time I arrived in Grado and checked into my albergue, my body was tired but my mind was wide awake. After just one day, I knew this journey was going to be unlike anything I had ever done before. And the wild part? I was only getting started. 🤍🥾🐚 by @demikorrin

The day she left for Spain to complete the most challenging Camino de Santiago of them all, the Camino Primitivo. It took her 14 days, 200 miles / 320 Kilometers later, a reminder that you can do hard things and make all your dreams come true. by @demikorrin

Beautiful shots from @bikenewyork! Coming back from walking 200 miles across Spain on the Camino de Santiago and jumping straight into a NYC bike tour felt like the perfect transition back into the rhythm of life. From riding the FDR with the skyline beside us, crossing my favorite bridge of all time (The Verrazano Bridge), cruising through Astoria Park, Central Park, and the Bronx for a classic bacon egg & cheese… the city felt alive in every possible way. Fast, loud, vibrant, beautiful. Sharing it all with one of my best friends made it even more special. A time was absolutely had.P.S Shoutout to Chinatown Dragon fighters Engine 9 Ladder 6 for the hoodie 🚒 NYFD & my mama for buying these pictures 💐 by @demikorrin

You do not need to have everything figured out to continue moving forward. Sometimes all you need is the willingness to keep going.#nycbiketour #40miles #5boroughs by @demikorrin

“Why would you walk for two weeks… alone?” Honestly… the simplest answer is 33 years of life! Why not? What a beautiful number. I feel like I’m at this point in life where I can go in any direction… become anything… choose anything. And I wanted to choose me. I wanted time with myself. I wanted time to talk to God. No distractions. No podcasts, no music, no phone calls. No place to be… just me, my thoughts, and a path in front of me.And wow… what a gift that is. To really sit with yourself. To process things you didn’t even realize you were carrying. To reflect, to release… and to start getting clear on what’s next.& you may be thinking, “Why not just do that at home?” But being away from home was the whole point. I needed to be somewhere uncomfortable… somewhere unknown… so I could learn how to be comfortable in that feeling. And by the end of this… I finally did.I also wanted to challenge myself, mentally and physically. To prove to myself that I can do hard things… even when my body is tired, even when my mind is over it. That’s why I chose the primitivo route. But at the same time, I had to learn how to listen. To slow down when my body needed it. To rest without guilt. To take care of myself in a different way. This journey was all of that. But it was also something deeper. A way to say thank you, to God, for even giving me the opportunity to do something like this. And more than anything… to honor my parents and my grandparents. Everything I am… everything I have access to… the ability to even be here, walking freely in a different country, chasing growth like this… that didn’t start with me. That came from their sacrifices. Their strength. Their prayers. This walk was for me… but it was also for them. For everyone who paved the way so I could stand here today and choose this kind of life. What a blessing 🤍 by @demikorrin
