I get a lot of no makeup 💄 girlies and the comment is always “I don’t want to look like I’m wearing lot of makeup”. The good news is you don’t have to. But what you do need to do is make it impactful.

Photography 📸 can wash out your face as it can’t see what the eye can see. It can’t see the dimensions in the face. So when doing your makeup for your event, think MORE contour, MORE Blush, MORE eye (doesn’t have to be shadow). The key is looking the good in person and in photo! So don’t be scared and add a little more 😉

Wedding days start early but there is something so beautiful and intentional about the days. The bridesmaids are locked in and ready to make the day easier for the bride.

The brides have all the feels. Some excitement and some jitters. My job is to help ground the moment for just a bit of time.

That’s my favorite part of the day. We enjoy the moment. And everyone gets to look and feel beautiful☺️.

A very merry Dior weekend…SCAD Fashion Museum had the Dior exhibit and it was magnificent. I think what stood out the most to me besides the designs was that he started at 42 and created Dior in 10 years😮. So 1, if you’re in your 40’s it’s not too late to start and you don’t need a big runway to win.

Anywhooo…but I also got a chance to open my box of Dior Glow Maximizers. I’m ecstatic to try flame and bronze. Perfect edition for effortless looks. Plus by now you know I live for moisturized and dewy skin. It equals healthy looking skin 😉.

There is soft glam and then there is the softest of the glams. It’s the glam that perfectly blends, can’t tell the start from the finish. It highlights your features for an effortless approach. Yes there is foundation and concealer but would you even know?

Yep the basis of all good makeup is great skincare!!! I hate to break it to you but it’s beyond a face mask, hydrating toner, peel pads or extra emollient moisturizer. It ALLL needs to start months before. If you stayed ready you wouldn’t have to get ready 👀!

Facial treatments and a good regimen could be the answer to controlling the oil when you need it, using less foundation, and actually liking your concealer after hours of wear. You can’t expect your makeup artist to be able control your sebum production all in 1 day.
