MATERIALS We’re mixed-media artists — oil paints, colour pencils, wax pastels, and felt-tip pens all share the spotlight. 🖌 Oil paints — our first love, it's what we've studied at university. Brands like Van Gogh, Daler-Rowney, and Winsor & Newton bring our paintings to life. ✏️ Colour pencils — perfect for sketching ideas on the go. We swear by Faber-Castell for their vivid pigments and water solubility. 🖍 Wax pastels — Caran d’Ache Neo Colour II gives our drawings that painterly punch. 🖊 Felt-tip pens — Staedtler’s brush pens let us bring fluid, expressive strokes to paper. It’s all about mixing, matching, and letting each material speak for itself. #MixedMediaArt #ArtMaterials #StudioLife #ContemporaryArtists #BehindTheScenes #PaintingProcess #ArtInProgress #FaberCastell #CaranDAche #WinsorAndNewton #DemodemaStudio by @demodemastudio
ABOUT US We’re Karolina Dema & Virgile Demo — an art duo based between Brussels and Paris Together, we explore ideas of collective memory through painting, drawing, and collage. Over the past decade, our work has been exhibited across Europe and the US — from San Francisco to Paris, Brussels to Wroclaw — and now live in private collections worldwide. In 2021, our illustrations for the children book 'L’Île des Mers Perdues' joined the French National Archives — a milestone that reflects our dedication to both art and storytelling. Let’s connect and collaborate on your project. 📩 info@demodema.com | 🌐 demodema.com #ArtDuo #ContemporaryArtists #BrusselsArt #ParisArt #MixedMediaArtists #CollageArt #ModernPainting #CollectiveMemory #ArtExhibitions #DemodemaStudio by @demodemastudio
THE STUDIO Step inside our world The studio is where everything happens — where ideas take shape in paint, pencil, and collage. We create original fine art pieces for collectors worldwide, and we love working on bespoke commissions: portraits, commemorative works, editorial illustrations, and brand collaborations — designed in close dialogue, from concept to completion. In Brussels, we run private studio experiences: one-to-one workshops, studio visits, and art consultations — fully tailored, intimate, and flexible. Whether you’re a collector, brand, or simply looking for something truly original, we’d love to connect. 📩 info@demodema.com | 🌐 demodema.com #FineArtStudio #ContemporaryArt #ArtCollectors #BrusselsArtScene #ArtCommissions #ArtistCollaboration #BespokeArt #StudioVisit #ArtWorkshop #DemodemaStudio by @demodemastudio
