Playing Antigone was such an honor and a blessing. I needed this show at this time with these people more than I’ll ever be able to comprehend or explain. I am forever indebted to Janet and Rachel for this opportunity and for their expert direction and guidance, rehearsal prostaff for making every room comfortable and conducive to creativity, the cast for making every rehearsal and every performance fun and different and exciting, and all of prostaff for their hard work creating the world we played in.

Antigone, thank you for reminding me to use my voice. Thank you for reminding me of the importance of courage. Thank you for reminding me that even one small ripple still has an impact. Thank you for challenging me and forcing me to grow and be better as a friend, a sister, a woman, and as a member of society. Thank you for reminding me that doing it scared is always better than doing nothing. Life would’ve been so much easier for them all without Antigone, but what do we get from easy? by @denae_joy612

It’s incredibly rare to have an experience where everything just feels perfect. It’s a beautiful thing to know that you are in the right place at the right time. Significant Other has been the most transformative theatre experience of my life, and by far the highlight of my time at TCNJ thus far. From the first time I read this script, I knew this show would be something special, and I am just so grateful that I got to be part of it. I will forever be grateful for ACT and the opportunity to do this show with this cast and prostaff. I am everything I am because you loved me.

To Laura - I see you, I understand you. The line where you end and I begin are very blurred, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for giving me pieces of myself that I didn’t know I had lost. Thank you for grounding me with your humanity. Thank you for showing me power I didn’t think I could muster and strength I didn’t know I contianed. Thank you for pushing me to be a better actress, listener, friend, and person. I am going to miss you immensely, but I will carry you and the lessons you taught me with me for the rest of my life.
