You can’t build a NEW life with big goals, and keep your OLD identity.

You have a goal, like….

More money.
More freedom.
Better marriage.
A new direction.
Grow your business.
More peace.
A bigger impact.
An early retirement.
A stronger body.

But have you stopped to look at the OLD identity you’re bringing into the NEW goal you say you want?

Because we can set a new goal while still operating from the same old beliefs. Millions of people do this on New Year’s Eve. And eventually, your OLD patterns will pull you right back to familiar results.

It might look like self sabotage, but it’s actually because you skipped the step of identity work.

This is why identity work matters.

Transformation has a proven formula for any change you want. Change is not based on hope or even mindset (both are important but not the foundation).

People who know the formula of change knows that you have to address Identity as the first step. This is the missing piece most people skip.

You have to stop asking, “What do I want to achieve?”

And first ask, “Who do I need to BE to achieve this goal?”

Not a pretend version of yourself. Not a perfect version.

A version of you who makes different decisions, practices different behaviors, and no longer negotiates with the patterns that keep you small.

You don’t create a new life by adding NEW habits and NEW goals to your OLD identity.

Ask yourself, who do I need to be to accomplish this goal. Then build from there.

After 25 years of transformng people’s lives and businesses, I feel more passionate today than ever to help people achieve their goals, use their gifts and own their greatness, because all of your goals are possible. Are you ready?

We are celebrating 21 years. 💕🙌🏻 Marriage is a gift and it takes a lot of work. It has been years of healing our past, doing the work, growing together, and putting God at the center of it all.

🌎 International Day of the Girl: When We Invest in Girls, We Invest in Our Future.

Today, we celebrate girls everywhere.

The girl who knows exactly what she wants to be when she grows up. The girl still discovering her gifts. The girl who has big dreams but isn’t sure anyone believes in her. The girl who is struggling. The girl who has been told she’s too much, too loud, too ambitious, or not enough.

Every single one of them matters.

International Day of the Girl, recognized by the United Nations and celebrated by UNICEF and organizations around the world, is more than a day on the calendar. It’s a reminder that girls deserve more than encouragement. They deserve opportunity. Education. Financial knowledge. Mentors who see their potential. Safe spaces to use their voices. And the freedom to imagine a future bigger than their circumstances.

Investing in girls is not charity. It’s an investment in our future.

When a girl understands her worth, she makes different choices.

When she discovers her gifts, she begins to see possibilities.

When she learns to manage money, she gains power over her future, and the economy.

When someone believes in her before she fully believes in herself, something changes.

As the Founder of Girls Rule Leadership Academy, I believe girls need the tools, support, and opportunities to thrive. That impact reaches far beyond one girl. It reaches families, communities, economies, and generations to come.

And today, we want to make this celebration PERSONAL.

💕 Call a girl in your life today.

Your daughter. Your granddaughter. Your niece. A student. A young woman you mentor. A girl who may not hear it enough.

Tell her what you see in her. Remind her of her strengths. Ask her about her dreams. Then listen.

You never know how much one conversation might matter.

Because girls with skills become women with vision.

Happy International Day of the Girl! 🌎💗

Let’s celebrate girls today. Let’s invest in them every day.

It was the AMA 60th anniversary and they put on an incredible conference at the Phoenix convention center for their members. They wanted a dynamic breakout session that could help their entire teams communicate and operate better together. So I created a custom session that was interactive, fun and life-changing. Most people do not have good communication tools on their tool belt especially for team dynamics, so I always love seeing people after these sessions immediately using the tools they learned. I gave them a mini lesson in True Colors which is an incredible tool for communication within teams. I have been certified in true colors for about eight years and it’s one of my favorite things to train people on. Thank you to Matrix Fire for being a great sponsor (always bring your sponsors a gift!)🙌🏻

If you are a business owner, it doesn’t matter if you have a team of 10 or a team of 100 it’s always important to continually give them opportunities for training and development.

Whether that is a conferences or you’re bringing trainers into your workplace, you will see the massive ROI.

The real danger of always saying YES and the 5 things to say instead.

You’ve unknowingly created a system where everyone expects access to you.

In business, that creates overcapacity, burnout, sickness and poor leadership.

In life, it creates resentment and exhaustion.

Great communication includes knowing your boundaries and how to say them.

“Boundaries unknown are boundaries useless.”

When I first learned about boundaries (in my 30’s!!! 🫣) I found it easy to create them, but hard to uphold them.

Today I know my boundaries and how to uphold them. It’s not just about saying ‘no’ more. It’s about protecting my: time, goals, energy, money, body and family. The only way I can run 2 companies is protecting my time.

So ask yourself: what is exhausting me or pulling on me, and what boundary is missing that’s causing it.

What you allow, continues.

Know that you are human breathe through hard feelings, and give yourself grace to process them.

Name it: I’m feeling ______
Repeat: I’m Ok three times
Take a deep breath
Call someone you trust to talk it through or Journal it. This helps to calm it down.
Give yourself grace - repeat: these are hard feelings I do not expect to be perfect I am human and I will work through this.
Say a prayer to ask Gods help.

Don’t forget to give yourself the thing that you are seeking right now (love, understanding, compassion etc)

This is the beautiful messy part of being a human. 💕💕

It was a busy August! I’m late on my post (and left out a few videos) but it was the busiest month I’ve had in ten years. I have never had online groups, or cohorts of online clients. I’ve been a one-on-one coach and live speaker/trainer for 25 years.

I get to choose my clients around the country, have the freedom to say when and where, and I only work with the best founders, leaders, companies and events.

For me, there are three i’s that I’m always trying to accomplish: impact, income, and independence/freedom. About year 10 is when I started to win at those goals and they each grow every year.

I don’t believe in ‘hustle’ or the myth that we have to kill ourselves for our business. I want peace, play, rest, travel and family way more than I want to funnel 100 people into a year long program. To me that is a formula for burnout!

So many people will tell you that one-on-one coaching is the wrong business model or that speaking is not lucrative. I’ve heard it a thousand times,
but I have found the opposite to be true!!

I’m in the business of changing people’s lives. I want to do well so I can do good in the world with my time and money, and not be chained to the hustle.

There is no AI and no substitute for a business and mindset coach who works closely with you to help you get the most epic results. There is no substitute for getting your team trained on mindset, communication and leadership so they stay elevated and empowered in their work! They are the most amazing jobs ever!!

If you are a coach or a speaker keep going. It doesn’t happen overnight, but like any career that you work hard at, it will pay off. And never buy into the lies that you can't do it.
