"Balancing motherhood and work is where my heart finds its rhythm." While my recent posts have been all about work, today, I'm thrilled to introduce you to someone who has completely stolen my heart. Please meet Mr. Liam Karsten Hart, our newest family member. He arrived a little earlier than expected in August 28th at 37 weeks, weighing 6 lbs 15.5 oz and measuring 20 inches. Needless to say, @thedude32321994 and I think he’s perfect. Being a working mama is both challenging and rewarding. As you can tell, this announcement is almost 2 months after he was born. 🙃 The days can be long and hard, but they're also incredibly gratifying. I'm so grateful for both my business and my beautiful children. When I look up, I can't help but say, I did that. I made that. And I'm absolutely obsessed with how things are unfolding. Liam, you are loved beyond measure. Ad Infinitum. Seeing you grow has been the biggest blessing, and I am grateful you chose me to be your mommy. #WorkingMama #WorkingMom #womenentrepreneurs #womenindentistry #blackwomenindentistry by @deneen.dismore
These photos, taken just 8 weeks apart, mean everything to me. #WorkingMom Speaking at the @dsosummit has been a long-standing aspiration. While I always appreciate the chance to connect with friends, partners and clients, my true joy lies in immersing myself in the passion that fuels my expertise on a grand stage. This time, I had the privilege of sharing that stage with two exceptional women, Sarah Ruberg of @ourthrivetribe_ and Nicole Toudouze of @transcendentalagency, both remarkable business owners in their own right. In the realm of marketing professionals, many excel, but few combine effective business strategies. We work tirelessly for our clients (and students!) to yield tangible results, form enduring strategic partnerships, and expand their digital footprint where it truly count. Achieving all this while silently celebrating the capabilities of women in this industry, who balance families and freedom to share insights as subject matter experts, was truly remarkable. And since the New Yorker in me will never die, doing it in my sparkly black outfit coupled with sensible flats was just a bonus. 🖤⚡️✨ I extend my heartfelt gratitude to @hrforhealth in partnership with @groupdentistrynow for this incredible opportunity. And a little secret, there's more to come. 😏 I can't wait to continue educating those who need me, Deneen style, both on and off the stage. #dentalentrepreneur #dentalmarketing #dentalmarketingexpert #dentalspeaker #womeninbusiness #womenindentistry #womenindso by @deneen.dismore
This last year. It gave a lot of things, but it never gave “give up.” 🥹 ⁣ Stay strong, friends. 🫶🏾⁣ ⁣ —⁣ ⁣ I just added a portion to my website - Deneen Out Of The Office. ⁣ ⁣ And then I saw it.⁣ I’ll refer to it as the hard part of being an entrepreneur in year 1. ⁣ ⁣ I would tell anybody who listened that I taught dentists how to attract and keep new patients. ⁣ ⁣ Silence. ⁣ I had some clients and contracts, but not many.⁣ ⁣ Then, 6 months later, I started to see what some call the “big mo.” ⁣ ⁣ The big mo is nothing more than a momentum shift. You keep working towards whatever goal you have, and suddenly, you start getting offers and opportunities that come in huge, giant waves. ⁣ ⁣ While I know this is just the beginning of my career as a New Patient Acquisition Specialist, I sit here in awe as I update my website. I’m officially in year 2, and I’m blown away by the magic in year 1. Thank you to every single company, entrepreneur, mentor, sister, friend, and peer who has given me a platform to stand on. My cup runneth over. I appreciate you. ✨⁣ ⁣ #dentalmarketing ⁣ #dentalmarketingconsultant ⁣ #businessdevelopmentcoach ⁣ #dentalentrepreneur ⁣ #womenindentistry by @deneen.dismore
The Freeport High School Scholarship Award Ceremony was nothing short of spectacular. As promised, the Emanuel Dismore Jr. Scholarship was awarded to 4 beautiful souls thanks to YOU. We have collectively raised over $11,000 and will continue to give out scholarships over the next 5 years (minimum). As for the recipients - I’m so proud of everything they stand for. They are all active in the Long Island community, have made significant academic achievements, are extracurricular activity rockstars, and are college-bound. They all happen to be young ladies of color, too (which I LOVE)!!! 😍 Congrats to you 4! We chose to protect the scholarship recipients' privacy for many reasons, but there’s no way we could skip the celebration. 🥳🥳🥳 Let’s go, FHS! 👹✨ by @deneen.dismore
Motherhood. It is running on fumes. It is asking (begging) your child to smile sweetly for a picture. It is looking at them with love as they mock all of your efforts. It is laughing anyway and being grateful that they exist. ⁣ ⁣ I love you, Matty. Thanks for making me a mommy. Also, wtf. 🙄😂⁣ by @deneen.dismore
It is with such a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of my amazing father, Emanuel Dismore Jr. ⁣ ⁣ While I’m devastated, I’m so proud to be his daughter. He was a Marine, a Vietnam veteran with two Purple Hearts, but you’d never be able to guess. As many of you may know, underneath that tough exterior was a huge heart. He loved to laugh, would talk your ear off once you were “in,” and was the type of guy who would give you his last dollar if you needed it. ⁣ ⁣ I’ll miss you, Dad. We all will. And in the meantime, I’m happy my son, Matthew Emanuel Hart, carries your name. Thanks for looking out for us all. The world truly did gain one of the best angels. ⁣ __⁣ ⁣ Friends and loved ones, if you could kindly respect our privacy. Making funeral arrangements in NY with the big C during the holiday season is difficult. Thank you for your love and well wishes in advance. We appreciate your support so much ❤️❤️. by @deneen.dismore
As snoop would say, “I wanna thank ME. I wanna thank me for believing in me. I wanna thank me for doing all this hard work.”⁣ ⁣ This is probably my biggest before and after to date. But if you think I don’t love both versions of myself even as I shed inches... you crazy. 🤚🏾🤚🏾 Yes it’s #transformationTuesday but these similarities tho 🥰🥰👇🏾⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Both chicks are about that athleisure life 💁🏾‍♀️⁣⁣ Both chicks are using their bodies to grow a tiny human #teambreastfeed🤱🏾 ⁣⁣ Both chicks have the most unapologetic idgaf energy 🔥⁣⁣ Both chicks are rocking the same. exact. pants 😎 (how crazy right??)⁣⁣ Both chicks lead + motivate others to step their health game all the way up. And we get results too. 💪⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ll never stfu about what I do as a wellness coach because the feels you get through all phases of life are too damn good to keep quiet about. I’m proud of my body as it continues to support me through all changes. And I’m proud of my frugalista purchase. I’m gonna rock these super versatile babies until forever. 😍⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ **I do not own the rights to this video by @deneen.dismore
Thor, it’s been a day without you and I’m completely heartbroken. You came into my life 4 years ago and have been unlike any other pet I’ve ever had. Thanks for sharing your daddy with me. I will always be your “mama” and miss you terribly. 💔 Goodbye, baby. See you again someday. by @deneen.dismore
Matthew Emanuel Hart, simply put, you’ve changed our lives. Thanks for being you, my sweet, handsome, hilarious, and fiesty baby boy. You are loved beyond measure. I still can’t believe I made you 💕. 📸: @kelsholtzphoto by @deneen.dismore
Challenge accepted. 🤍🖤 Please keep in mind that there are many people of color who will not be able to take part in these beautiful challenges. Some are unfairly incarcerated, others are recovering from acts of violence, others have lost their lives. Please take a moment to soak up how blessed you are in this exact moment, and then continue to do all you can to fight + advocate for equal rights. 🙏🏾 @thekplife @erinnicole_89 @_styled_by_b @mrs_kymmy_j @probablyjulianamoreno @nomadic.gypsy.soul by @deneen.dismore
Happy birthday to my beautiful mother, the queen 👸🏾. You raised 3 girls without access to Amazon Prime and smart devices. Bless. 🙏🏾 by @deneen.dismore
