CoralCarib Project
This is a 6 year journey to jump start Jamaica's ailing coral reef system. The @alligatorheadfoundation alongside The Nature Conservancy have been tasked with populating several sites inside and outside the East Portland Fish Sanctuary with coral. After the horrific bleaching event of 2023 this project is well needed. Haiti, Dominican Republic and Cuba are also a part of CoralCarib. The struggle our marine systems are experiencing is not centered on Jamaica, the world over is seeing the increasing demise. We welcome this venture and hope it can be implemented in many more areas around our coast.

🌠How i've been spending my summer nights...
