5 things you may not know about me 😊

1. I was a calisthenics dancer for a decade, starting from the age of 7 . Competing at a state level and a national level. I was a lot more flexible than I am today 😭

2. I was a singer in my family’s band throughout my teenage years, starting from the age of 13. Singing in pubs and RSL clubs and lying about my age to perform in licensed venues 🙈

3. I am classically trained in piano and self taught in guitar 🎶 but the cello is my favourite instrument (I hope to learn one day) 🎻

4. I can read sheet music (slowly) but I prefer just reading chords. Before internet I used to learn any song by ear (just by listening). I can’t read guitar tabs even though I have tried 🎼

5. I see a lot of things in colour (inside my head). Such as music chords, days of the week, numbers and letters. They all have their own individual colour and that is how I have always identified them since I was a child. The colours have remained the same my whole life 🤔 I learnt a few years ago this is called synaesthesia 🤷🏼‍♀️ by @denikahennessy
