A few of my hare linoprints from the last few years, I do absolutely love watching hares and they feature a lot in my work .

A short video showing the 2 layers of 'Nearly There'. Quite pleased with how it's turned out, just a few tweaks to do.
This is based on a little copse of trees, I see each time I travel to Cornwall, they are known as 'The Nearly There Trees'.

A quick test print of the colour version of 'Clover among the flowers', a few tweaks needed, but overall I'm happy with it.
Incase you don't know this is my cat Clover, who's a rather large Tabby, who's meant to be on a diet, but constantly pinches her sister's food!
Most days she's in the studio with me, sitting next to or on my work.
I'll be printing off both colour and black and white versions of this one.

Making a little start on my Autumn Blackbird, lino print. A way to go as yet. And it's a beautiful Autumn day in the South so may end up going for a walk with hubby. Hope, whatever you're doing, you have a lovely day.

I've been having a bit of a sort out in my studio, recently. And have been going through some of the little illustrations I have painted over the years. It seems a shame to leave them sitting in a drawer. So I've popped a few of them in my Etsy shop.

This is my very 'old tech'way of designing my lino prints, using sheets of tracing paper . I'm afraid I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to technology . But this works for me. I draw out the design roughly in pencil 1st, then do a more detailed pen drawing, which I will use to copy the design onto the lino. Then I work out roughly what colours will go where on another piece of tracing paper.
So this is the rough design for Autumn Blackbird.

If you've been following my page for a while you may remember this one. I made it earlier on in the year, but I was never entirely happy with it, so over the last day or so I've made a few adjustments. I lightened up the squirrel, took out some of the background, added a bit more snow falling, and a bit more detail on the bark. And much happier with it now.

I've also been printing off a few more Autumn Hare lino prints, as I'd sold out of this one too. This is one of my favourite prints and has proved to be popular.

I've been printing a few more little hedgehogs recently, as I sold out of the last batch of Autumn Hedgehog. This shows the sequence involved in printing thus one. I do always like seeing how the black keyblock pulls it all together.
