Ready to meet your next favourite witch? 🌙✨

✨ If your bookshelf contains...
🌿 The Lost Apothecary - secret remedies and hidden female power
🖤 Weyward - witches, nature, and women who refuse to be tamed
🔥 The Handmaid's Tale - dystopia that still haunts your dreams
⚡ The Children of Men - a future balanced on the edge of collapse
👑 A Poisoner's Tale & The Once and Future Witches - fierce stories of women challenging the rules
...then I think I've found your next read. 👀

📚 Bringing Down the Flowers is the first book in my Hedge Witch Series, blending witchcraft, resistance, dystopian Britain, and powerful women who refuse to stay silent.

✍🏻Book 3 update 📔
I’m writing my third book in my dystopian witchy series and I’m inviting you along for the ride. 🍅The Pomodoro technique that I mention in the video is as follows:
🍅Break work into 25 minutes in length, separate by a short five minute break.
🍅Each break is known as a pomodoro, from the Italian word tomato, named after a kitchen timer the inventor used as a university student. (His name is Francesco Cirillo).
🍅Repeat each round until you’ve completed four sets, then take a longer break (20-30 mins).
💡I find this method keeps me accountable, and keeps me going for longer. I’m less tired during the process, although exhausted by the end of it! 🥴
👀The method has saved my eyes as I’m less likely to get fried eyes or headaches, which can only be a good thing.
🌿If you’re new to my Hedge Witch Series take a look at the links in my bio 😁

✍🏻Let’s take a peek inside my office ✍🏻
Firstly, forgive me for the paintwork. We only moved in six months ago and are still very much settling in.
☕The mug I’m drinking from is one of my writerly mugs. I have two mugs which I drink out of when I’m writing. This is one of those ritualistic things that works for me and differentiates my writing time from my day job...yes, I have one of those!
🐍My Medusa painting protects me while I write. I bought this print whilst on holiday in Menorca from a wonderful gallery Vidrart in Cuitadella. The artist is called Carles Gomila.
✨I also have a Stevie Nicks ‘Belladonna’ Barbie doll above her which I don’t think needs any explanation. And a picture of a puffin. This was picked up following a boat trip to the Farne Islands, Northumberland, to see the puffins up close. The birds are unbelievably small, but they punch well above their weight and are tough and resilient. Much like I see life as an indie author 😁
🌿My witchy inspo shelves. These items have been collected and gifted over time and have huge sentimental value, so it’s difficult to pick out a favourite. Although, I recently made the blue star bowl at a pottery evening which is filled with pine cones and beachy treats foraged during our recent trip to Anglesey. 🌊
🪟The beautiful view. One of the main reasons for moving here was for the glorious views of the rolling hills that surround us. Having spent most of my life in the low-lying fenlands of Cambridgeshire, I often have to pinch myself that we live here.
You've seen my office. Now I want to see yours! 👀 Share your workspace in the comments or tag me in your story.

It's 2063, and choice has a price!!!

Two babies. One law.
And a woman who refuses to obey.

Then someone dies.

A forbidden remedy.
A suspicious death.
A witch who doesn’t believe in magic.
And a government that would rather silence her than let the truth surface.

Bringing Down the Flowers

QOTD: If the government made one major decision for your body, would you obey or rebel?

Enter the giveaway in our Highlights.
