The first episode of Lead Like Her is officially live on Spotify, Apple and YouTube! I’m so excited to finally share this project that has meant so much to me.For Episode 1, I sat down with Coach Maureen Hirt to talk about her journey from player to coach and the leadership lessons she’s learned along the way. We dive into confidence, teamwork, adaptability, and what it truly means to lead others.Lead Like Her is a podcast where I interview incredible women across the sports industry to learn from their leadership journeys. From coaches and executives to athletes and business professionals, each conversation is filled with lessons that extend far beyond sports.This has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my summer, and I’m incredibly grateful to my mentor, Dr. Jeff Kurtz, for his guidance throughout this journey.A huge thank you to every amazing woman who shared her story. Next up on our Summer Spotlight Series, Maeve Perry!! 🤩☀️This summer, I’ve had the opportunity to take a photography class in Stockholm, Sweden through DIS and Denison off campus study. I was able to meet some amazing people while learning about both photography and Swedish culture. While there, I was also able to travel to Copenhagen, Denmark which was also amazing! by @denisonwbb

First up on our Summer Spotlight Series, Violet Mitchell! 🤩☀️This summer, I’ve been incredibly grateful to be part of some amazing experiences that have challenged me and help me grow.First, I had the opportunity to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum, where I spent four days alongside 200 student-athletes from all NCAA divisions. While we explored careers in sports, the biggest takeaways were the lifelong skills we developed such as networking, stepping outside of our comfort zones, and staying curious.Second, I’ve also had the privilege of participating in a 10-week Summer Scholars Program, where I’ve been researching female leaders in sports and the impact they have on their teams, organizations, and communities. As part of this project, I created a podcast featuring conversations with incredible women across the sports industry. These include business professionals and coaches to executive leadership coaches. I’m especially grateful to Dr. Kurtz for his mentorship and support throughout this entire process. I’m excited to share that the podcast will be launching soon, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the inspiring stories these women have to tell!! So thankful for the opportunities, the people I’ve met, and everything I’ve learned this summer. by @denisonwbb
