Chapter 31: Mommy

I prayed for you unknowingly. After so many losses, numbness came and stayed, but I still hoped for the void to be filled. Not knowing that on January 27, 2024, at 9:12AM, I would be gifted the greatest gift that did more than fill a void. Not only did I give birth to my beautiful baby boy, I gave birth to him on my Granny’s birthday. I also told myself that if I ever had a baby I would name him or her after my baby brother. Safe to say God really does have a way of doing things lol. Now I get to enjoy life with my son, my greatest blessing thus far. Introducing to you all, Denim Jairè Butler 💙🩵 by @denitraterell

My reason why, my heart, my love, my joy,

Happy 1st Birthday to my Denim Jairé 🎉🥳🎂🎈

This year with you, by far, has been the highlight of my life. I can’t thank God enough for blessing me with you, because you are truly heaven sent! If I could give the world, the moon and the stars I would with no hesitation.

I never knew you could love someone so much, cause baby boy you are Mommy’s world. I love you before, now, after and forever Denim 🫶🏾🩵 by @denitraterell
