Week 15: Symbolism

I recently collaborated with @deni.rmartinez, who flew in from Brazil for some family related matters. She was nearby, so we seized the chance to create something magical behind the lens. Muito obrigada Deni pela colaboração! 💛

I’m going back to school this fall and admittedly I’m scared. It’s been 11 years since I went to university, and now I’m going back to pursue a different career. So many doors have opened themselves to me as potential futures. I considered studying graphic design, photography, and even nursing. But I ultimately decided to pursue elementary education. People ask me, “But why?!” And honestly, it’s what I always wanted to do. I just had so much pride the last time I went to school that I graduated in a field I didn’t love. So I’m doing it again, and this time I’m going for it.

I intend on using my graphic design and composite experience in the classroom. I love reading, and creating magical composites for the kids to help introduce new reading material gives me so much fuel and excitement.
