End of year was so busy, I did not have the chance to share this photo from my talk on Bitcoin during the Presidential Forum in New Hampshire.

I was honored to share my views on the importance of Bitcoin in the USA. It’s not often one gets to speak at an event like this one.

I am thankful to the folks who made this opportunity possible. Shoutout to my friends in the Granite State! taken in New Hampshire Institute of Politics by @dennis_porter_

I’m looking forward to discussing Bitcoin and other relevant topics with Senator Wyden in Ft. Worth on Nov. 17th.

I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to directly engage with and learn from the insights of Oregon’s most senior member of our federal delegation. by @dennis_porter_

Oklahoma is #3 in the USA behind Texas and Iowa for wind energy. And wherever there is wind power, there is wasted energy potential.

Oklahoma also has A LOT of excess methane emissions.

Excess wind and methane emissions are target sources of energy for Bitcoin mining. Both can power Bitcoin mining while also providing a benefit to the environment.

We spent the day at the Capitol in Oklahoma City, sharing these benefits with the Oklahoma Senate. It went better than expected!

Oklahoma is well positioned as a leader in wind energy to benefit from Bitcoin. by @dennis_porter_

U.S. Senator Cantwell is one of the hardest working Senators I know. I had to the opportunity to drive across to Vancouver to meet her again and engage with some incredible people from Oregon and Washington. by @dennis_porter_

I testified about the benefits of bitcoin mining in front of the Cascade Locks city council. Despite being a volunteer, unpaid position the council members had sharp and intuitive questions.

Thank you to Mayor Cathy and the council members for giving me the chance to share my views on this nascent technology which I believe is a powerful tool for enhancing the grid and the environment.

Had a chance to run into the man himself Mr. Steve Dunn while I was out at his charity golf tournament.

This year the tournament funds went to support Remember Betty which is a non-profit that helps to minimize the financial impact placed on breast cancer survivors.

Thanks to @iamdoctorw and @sklip_app for the invite. by @dennis_porter_

Miami was a huge success for Satoshi Action.

I delivered a keynote speech on the need to get active at the state and local level with Bitcoin advocacy, interviewed a presidential candidate, hosted a panel, held a working group, and threw a very successful benefit for the organization. by @dennis_porter_

Over the last 48 hours I met with 15 U.S. Senate offices to share with them the benefits of Bitcoin mining.

The key areas we focused in on were how Bitcoin can mitigate methane emissions, use curtailed (wasted) energy from renewables, and act as a grid balancer during emergencies.

The conversations were productive and resulted in multiple offices choosing to work with Satoshi Action in a long term and substantive manner. by @dennis_porter_
