About this weekend- We travelled to Provincetown to celebrate Jesse and Justin’s wedding. The nor’easter blew in which meant they had to pivot to an indoor ceremony. There was so much love in that room, everything was intentional and detailed we all felt it. It was absolutely perfect. I was so honored and happy to be there celebrating the love and joy and FUN of it all. The added bonus was seeing friends I haven’t seen in forever. Jesse and Justin, I wish you both only goodness as you move through this life as a married couple. Love Love Love 💕💕💕 taken in Provincetown, Massachusetts by @dennisstowe

Ok story time…..I was one of the first ensemble replacements in “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” on Broadway in 2005 replacing the great @gray_sandy who was off to do “The Color Purple”. My rehearsal period was exactly when John Lithgow was on vacation so I had not met him while I was rehearsing. After my put-in rehearsal, while still in costume, sweaty and trying to make sure I knew all the staging and steps and singing preparing to go in to the show for the first time that evening, in walks John Lithgow from the stage door. At the Imperial Theatre, you can see the stage door from the stage. So I see the silhouette of John(who’s quite tall) walk in the stage door and make a bee line for me on the stage. He grabs both of my shoulders and says “DENNIS! WELCOME to the cast. We are so LUCKY to have you!” I look up at him(because he’s so tall 😏)and start crying telling him how big of a fan I was and how I DO feel lucky. And I DID! John Lithgow is one of the most kind and dear performers I’ve ever worked with to this day and I’ll never forget how special he made me feel to be on Broadway. THANK you John!! @jalithgow by @dennisstowe

‘Twas the night before Christmas
When all through the palace,
Not a villain was stirring, not even with malice.
Shiny jewels were hung on the vendor poles, where
all of the marketplace scents filled the air.

The citizens dance in their colorful clothes,
While lovers give gifts to their own betrotheds.
Genie, from the magical lamp, grants the wishes
for street rats who thought flying carpets were fictitious.

And little did he know, he’d find his true reason,
To woo a Princess living in a really, really nice “prison”.
He’d set out to change his ways for his best friends,
And found that he was always a Prince, in the end.

And The Genie said warmly, with joyous transcending,
“Happy Holidays to all! I just love happy endings!”
