Closing a chapter with so much gratitude & growth 🥹✨

Yesterday, I said goodbye to my colleagues at @sunshineboulevarddental after almost 2 years. When I reached out to SBD, they hadn’t employed an OHT before. They took a chance on me and I feel so grateful to have been trusted to come on board & grow the hygiene department. Creating a periodontal maintenance program, introducing Airflow and GBT, becoming a EMS certified practice & improving our patients oral health literacy on the daily.

A place that has felt so safe to work & to be surrounded by kind and compassionate colleagues with an amazing leader, Dr Courtney, has been crucial to my professional and personal growth.

As one door closes, another one opens. And I’m SO excited for what’s next… 🚀💭 taken in Gold Coast, Queensland by @dentalwithruby

47 4-5 year olds seen today for dental check ups at their school. That’s 47 kids going home with new toothbrushes, more knowledge about their health & a positive dental experience. 47 kids with easier access to dental care. 47 kids equipped to make better choices for their health and improve their quality of life 🪥 🌍 🧚🏼

Always focused on the bigger picture. The work that actually makes a difference in people’s lives & fills my cup 🥹 taken in Gold Coast, Queensland by @dentalwithruby

just in case you forgot today!! 🧚🏼🎀🩷 flossing helps to remove plaque and bacteria from below the gumline & in between the teeth. this helps prevent calculus build up, gum disease & cavities! tooth brushing alone can only clean 60% of a tooth surface, add in flossing to clean the other 40% of the tooth 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽🫱🏼‍🫲🏽🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 perfect combo ✨
