How I spend my first hour off work every single day. Decision and conversation fatigue is a real thing ya’ll. 200+ decisions and 100+ conversations in a day can be exhausting 😩 #decisionfatigue #dentistry #dentist #dissociation #healthcare by @dentistbryce

Smiling doesn’t just reduce stress; it also lowers your blood pressure! A lot of those same hormones and neurotransmitters that cause a spike in your stress levels also weigh on your blood pressure, putting a strain on your heart. When you find reasons to genuinely smile every day, you could actually elongate your lifespan by bringing some relief to your heart! 💙 #smilemore❤️ #hearthealth #dentistry #smiles #dropitlikeitshot by @dentistbryce

Opening your own practice is a different kind of education. 😂📈

Nobody really prepares you for what it’s like to be a solo practitioner. You’re the doctor, the business owner, the marketer, the accountant, the janitor, AND the person wondering where all the money went at the end of the month. 😂

The reality is that bringing in money and actually making money are two very different things when you own a practice. Rent, utilities, supplies, taxes, equipment, and all the behind-the-scenes expenses add up FAST. And when you’re building something from the ground up, every dollar has a job.

I’m incredibly grateful to be collaborating with three other amazing professionals — a DDS and two LMTs — because building a space where different healthcare providers can work together is something special. 🤝

Entrepreneurship will humble you, challenge you, and force you to grow in ways you never expected. But I believe in what I’m building, I love the work I do, and I know that creating something of my own is worth the hard days, too.

Here’s to building something meaningful, learning as we go, and hopefully one day laughing about the days when breaking even felt like winning. 🖤
