Move your Head 🥊 The legendary “Willie-bag” was created by boxing trainer Cus D’Amato in 1965. It got its name from Willie Pastrano, who was the reigning world light heavyweight champion at the time. It’s not called the “Willie-bag” now it’s known now as the “Slip-bag” … (sounds better 🤣) The voice your hearing in the video is from a called Kevin Rooney who was Mike Tyson’s training after the CUS D’Amato died. He is explaining how the slip-bag worked to help make the fighter move his/her head within battle. I still use it now as you can see and it helped me and is also fun to use .🥊 @miketyson is one of my favourite fighters of you know me. Be elusive, relax and ferocious! @proper_gym_limited DM ME FOR A PERSONAL TRAINING BOXING SESSION🌟 #personaltrainer #TrainSmart #boxingcoach #manchesterboxingpt #boxing by @denton.vassellpt
STAY CONSISTENCE… you never know what tomorrow will bring. 🔥 In boxing stay consistent with your training is important because you never know when your next bout will be. I always say STAY READY SO DONT HAVE TO GET READY!! 🥊 CONDITION YOUR ABS!! 🥊 Me Showing why having a strong conditioned core helps especially in boxing. Body punching is probably the worst punch to get hit with because you can’t breath, the pain is next level, the delayed reaction messes up your rhythm and you guard drops leaving you head exposed. 🥊 Not every move is about going forward. Working on my back foot, footwork, balance, timing and control. Creating space, managing distance and staying sharp. Boxing is just as much about knowing when to move backwards as it is about knowing when to attack. It’s all in the details. The work never stops. 👊💯 Try the workout and tel me what you think! 🥊 WEIGHTED AB ROLLOUT — BUILD A FIGHTER’S CORE 🔥 A strong core is more than just visible abs. It’s about creating stability, controlling rotation and transferring force when it matters. 💥 Me improving my core strength 💪🏾 The weighted ab rollout helps fighters develop: 🥊 Core Stability — Build the strength to maintain control under pressure. 💥 Force Transfer — Train your core to help transfer force between your lower and upper body when punching, kicking and grappling. 🛡️ Anti-Extension Strength — Train your abs to resist excessive lower-back arching. 🤼 Grappling Control — Develop trunk stability for wrestling, clinch work and ground exchanges. ⚡ Body Control — Improve your ability to maintain a strong, controlled position during demanding movements. 🏋️ Progressive Overload — Add resistance to challenge your core as your strength develops. Train your core like a fighter. Not just for aesthetics, but for performance. 👊 Save this for your next S&C session and add it to your fight camp training! 🔥 DM ME FOR A PERSONAL TRAINING BOXING SESSION🥊 #MMAConditioning #BoxingStrength #FighterSCC #CombatSports #CoreTraining MMATraining BoxingTraining FightCamp StrengthAndConditioning WeightedAbRollout by @denton.vassellpt
