Get to know the EMS team at Denver Health! 🚑 featuring PGY3, Dr. Coco Wham and EMS fellow Dr. Geoff Sowitz (and former DH grad) highlighting our prehospital team!

Denver Health Paramedic Division is one of the busiest 911 systems in the country (200 medics, 100K+ calls/year).

We rotate through EMS for one week during our intern year and one week during our PGY3 year with opportunities for elective time for those interested.

During EMS training, we get hands-on in it all: field training alongside new DH paramedics, command shift ride-alongs, special event medicine (Rockies games, concerts, other sporting events).

There are also opportunities for ongoing ED clinical practice, protocol development, research, and education, training the next generation of EMS physician leaders. 🩺✈️ by @denveremed
