This picture has always been special to me. It is from a trip I made to Italy about 20 years ago when I was still in college on a study abroad trip. It was raining. Not just raining, it was like a monsoon. The only people out were tourists who didn't want to let a day of vacation slip away for a little weather. Needless to say, most people were hunkered down or seeking shelter. Sounds familiar right? Over the years the picture has got a lot of likes, won a couple small awards, and been published here and there. It's only now that I really feel a stronger pull toward this moment. It just feels like we're all like this woman waiting out the rain so we can go back out and start living.
I have decided to print a limited run of museum quality prints. The photograph will be hand crafted in house, signed and numbered. I'm limiting this a run of 40 8.5X11 Japanese Baryta prints.
Thank you all for your support now and through the years. We hope you are all staying safe and healthy inside. We're all in this together, even if we feel super alone.
