"Camera + Man"

November 2022 | Shake the camera and shoot: This is my entry for this month's challenge with the theme: Intentional Camera Movement.

The location is a stretch of mostly Mediterranean shops and my everyday sight on my way to work. Sliding doors were ornamented with colorful and artistic graffitis but this "Nikon Camera Guy" is my favorite. As compared 2 years ago when I moved here during the height of pandemic, it is fascinating to see more and more additions of colorful artworks along this street.

Visit the Church of the Annunciation at Preseren Square, a 17th-century Franciscan church featuring a pink facade and magnificent ceiling frescoes.

Follow the Liublianica River for boat views, people-watching, and that golden-hour glow that makes every corner photo-ready.

Say hello to the dragons on Dragon Bridge-because did you even visit Ljubljana if you didn’t?

Wandering through Škofja Loka feels like stepping into a storybook with cobbles underfoot and castle views above.
 Škofja Loka Castle (Grad Loka) keeps watch over the town like a proud old guardian, and the climb up is worth every postcard-perfect glance back.
 Down below, the Capuchin Bridge (Kapucinski most) adds just the right touch of medieval magic, especially when the river is sparkling beneath it.
 St. James’s Church brings a calm, timeless beauty to the heart of town, balancing all that lively wandering with a peaceful pause.
 The old town is a maze of colourful facades, quiet corners, and little details that make you want to slow down and look twice.
 And yes, you absolutely have to try the famous Škofja Loka biscuit, because sightseeing tastes better with a local sweet in hand.
 This place is small enough to feel intimate but rich enough to keep surprising you at every turn.
 Škofja Loka, you’re proof that the best travel memories often hide in the most charming little towns.

Last year’s summer in the very amazing North Macedonia.

 For the best city views, head up to Mt. Vodno and watch Skopje stretch out beneath you in the most spectacular way.
 Then it’s time to taste your way through the city with rich local food, cosy cafés, and flavours you’ll want to come back for.
 Matka Canyon is the perfect escape, with turquoise water, dramatic cliffs, boat rides, and caves waiting to be explored.
 Skopje has that rare mix of culture, nature, history, and adventure all in one unforgettable place.
 Add it to your travel list — North Macedonia is full of surprises.

If you want to see a capital city with calm and beauty, visit Oslo.

Oslo is the kind of city that feels calm, clean, and effortlessly beautiful. From the fjord views to the cosy cafés, every corner has a little Nordic charm. I loved wandering through the streets, breathing in the crisp Norwegian air, and soaking up the peaceful city atmosphere.

There’s something special about a place that blends modern architecture, nature, and history so seamlessly.

Oslo made me slow down, look around, and appreciate the simple moments. Norway, you were cold, stunning, and completely unforgettable.

Sarajevo - one of the most beautiful cities and one of the most memorable trips I have been so far in Europe.

Sarajevo feels like a city where every street carries a quiet piece of history. Its museums tell stories of resilience, memory, and the many cultures that have shaped its soul.

Walking through the old town, you can feel the layers of East and West meeting in the simplest, most beautiful way.

What stayed with me most was the warmth and simplicity of the people — kind, humble, and deeply welcoming.

Sarajevo doesn’t need to be loud to leave an impression; it speaks softly and stays with you. A city of history, heart, and unforgettable humanity. @bosniaandherzegovina

Wandering through Utrecht felt like stepping into a softer, storybook side of the Netherlands.

From the beautiful waterside streets of Oudegracht, where the canals are lined with cosy cafés and historic buildings, to the soaring Dom Tower watching over the city, every corner had its own charm.

One of my favourite moments was finding a little peace in the Pandhof van de Dom, a hidden courtyard full of calm, greenery, and old-world beauty.

Utrecht is the kind of place that invites you to slow down, look up, and fall in love with the details and Dutch city vibes.

Kranj, Slovenia, you completely surprised me.

Wandering through the Old Town felt like stepping into a quiet storybook, with narrow streets, colourful buildings, hidden corners, and that peaceful European charm that makes you want to slow down and notice every little detail.

Then there’s St Ursula Church, sitting quietly between the fields — one of those places you don’t just visit, but pause for.

Surrounded by open green landscapes, soft countryside views, and the calm rhythm of rural Slovenia, it has a peaceful beauty that feels completely timeless. There’s something so special about seeing this little church framed by nature, away from the busy streets, where the silence, the fields, and the distant views all come together so effortlessly.

From the historic centre to the countryside beyond it, Kranj has such a gentle charm — a simple, beautiful reminder that some of the most memorable travel moments are found in the quietest places. A little Slovenian gem that deserves so much more attention.

St. Mark’s Basilica is more than a postcard backdrop—it’s the spiritual heart of Venice and a masterpiece of Byzantine-inspired architecture.

Built to honour Saint Mark, the city’s patron saint, the basilica is famous for its glittering gold mosaics, five domes, marble floors, and centuries of treasures gathered through Venice’s trading power.

Standing in Piazza San Marco, it tells the story of a city shaped by faith, art, and the sea.
