“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
— Joshua 1:9

I came into Howard as a quiet, shy girl who was afraid to speak up, advocate for herself, and often felt like she didn’t belong.

I’m leaving as a confident, resilient, and purpose-driven woman who knows her worth and makes her presence known in any room she enters.

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you God, for being my strength, my guide, and my rock. Thank you for every blessing, every opportunity, and allowing me to walk in the purpose You placed within me at my #1 HBCU. Graduating debt-free is a blessing I don’t take for granted. I’m humbled and in awe of how far you’ve brought me and how good you’ve been to me.

To my family and friends—thank you for your unwavering love and support. I wouldn’t have made it through without you. Thank you for showing up for me, over and over.

To my professors, thank you for challenging me, believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and nurturing the gifts you saw in me before I could see them myself.

Thank you, Howard, for the lessons, trials, and the unforgettable journey. For the community, the culture, and the lifelong friendships—I’m forever grateful.
