Golden Year.

Last year in my 20s. Feels so unreal to say but I’m blessed to have made it to this chapter of life. I glow a bit different now. I’m more intentional. I protect my peace and I allow no one to dim my light. What God has written, no man can erase it.

28 stretched me in ways I never expected.

There were moments I questioned God’s timing, moments I had to let go of people, opportunities, and even versions of myself I thought I’d hold onto forever. I learned that growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like waiting. Sometimes it looks like walking away. Sometimes it looks like choosing peace over proving a point.

If there’s one thing I’m taking into 29, it’s this: I’d rather be exactly where God wants me than anywhere my own plans could take me.

These are a few of the lessons that shaped me this past year. I hope at least one of them meets you where you are.

The journey so far has been more than I could imagine. The clear vision this journey through CBA has given me, surpasses all. I’ve connected with amazing individuals who passionately create and inspire. This has pushed me to go beyond my limits as a creative. I entered this program with purpose and made sure to achieve just that. It’s been 4 months so far of dedication, discipline, fun, laughter and creativity. The road to success is never easy, but one thing is certain “quitting is NOT an option”. I can’t wait to see who I become after CBA. Stay tuned ladies and gentlemen. The journey has just begun. ✨
