Travelling from the distant land of Pasir Ris, @derdraws's distinct lines and markered work have become a staple at our @sgcomiccon booth over the years. And, this year's no different with Haider joining us as part of our @misg1965 island at tables AA172/AA173 (on level 1)!

Haider will also be participating in our Sketch o'Clock programme, lending his support to assist raising funds for @3pumpkins_sg!

@SGComicCon may be over (for this year), but you can still vote for your favourite 🎲#Gamemaster Screen🎲 submission at the link in our bio.

@derdraws goes full dark side with a world where the forces of Tartarus have won... our Heroes but decapitated trophies to their enemies!

The winning entry will accompany the Delta Edition of the ⚡Legionaries⚡ #tabletop #RPG #boardgame which will be available in very limited quantities in 2024. Voting will remain open through Q1.

@sgcomiccon Singapore Local Artists Gallery ‘We are Groot’ Art piece Process. See last image to see it on display during the convention.

This was done by 11” X 17” paper size, which is larger than A3, so quite a big piece. This paper size is popular in the US.

Here you can see my process at this stage, starts with super rough penciling before I then start my inking process with thinner ink tips adding my initial details.

I then finish my pencil and inking process with a variety of ink tips as I complete the pieces of the jigzaw.

For colours on this piece, I scanned and printed a few pieces. I then coloured the groots before using black ink for the background and splattered some white paint using a paint marker for the stars. I painted another version of this piece, which I may eventually share perhaps.

Thank you @jorgimoto for putting all this together for us. taken in Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center by @derdraws

@sgcomiccon 2023 - Post 1 (I may post more or not, lol)

The con has come and gone super swiftly. It was possibly one of the best ones for me. I am so glad that @nurqurratul_ain is super supportive of my interest and knows how important the con is for me in multiple ways ❤️

Here are some photos to tell the story, but more for me to remember some of the highlights:

Photos 1&2 - Attending once again as an exhibitor thanks to @crimsonstarcomics with a few hours booth-ing and taking art requests and raising some funds for @3pumpkins_sg . Thank you so much for what you continue to do for the community here team 🙏🏼❤️

Photo 3- Taking photos with fellow creators who were part of a panel that I was previously involved in

Photo 4 - One with my fellow comic collector @chiarencolin . Missing is a photo of @hulkingups ! They don’t usually go to the Singapore conventions and so having them there this year made it a lot more enjoyable for me.

Photo 5 - played some tabletop RPGs with new friends and old!

Photo 6 - is a clash of worlds for me with @dennetk from @tableminis leading a @dndwizards session for my cousins @frutloopz & @kaureena and myself whilst my secondary school dear/best friend @noddy_noddy and her friend @zeppelin_zephyr . Missing @juofalltrades in the photo!

Photo 7 - @apri_j ‘s nephews coming down to the con with him to enjoy themselves but also support me at my booth!

Photos 8 - @pinkponkcomics put together for some of us local artists a bit of an art gallery at the entrance of the con. Means a lot to us all and again thank you so much. @jorgimoto and team gave a few of us our first big break and continue to support us 🙌

Photo 9&10 - My niece @rfhnb ‘s daughter Rania gleefully grinning and posing with my Grogu(baby yoda) piece. They also swung by to come and say hello to support and geek out as well! The last photo is me taking a photo with @wang.fran who bought that baby yoda piece and it is now with her back in China. 🖼 ARTISTS AT OUR BOOTH THIS WEEKEND at @sgcomiccon 🧡 we call @derdraws the monster man because he's got a really unique style of drawing creatures and monsters, and he's also super tall - most of us crane our necks to talk to him. Lucky for you, he'll be seated at our #UniverseforEveryone and will be just about your eye-level when you're standing at our booth. Come check out the charming monster man (and his art) this weekend 💫

>> SWIPE FOR more.

@derdraws is also part of our #SketchOClock initiative which will support @3pumpkins_sg via @cityofgoodsg 💖

@sgcomiccon 9 & 10 Dec at MBS. Get your tickets on Klook. Don’t be lazy, just Google it. I’m too lazy to add the link 🤣

Aside from being at a booth with @crimsonstarcomics on Saturday morning. Some of my artwork will be at the gallery displaying Singapore Local Artists(@derdraws ) put together by @pinkponkcomics during the con.

Swipe left to see the WIP for one of the artworks that will be featured. These look quite different from the complete pieces that will be displayed of course.

This piece is a bigger than usual artwork for me, slightly larger than an A3 paper ( 11 by 17 inches).

Information on the booth to come(if I am not lazy). Hope to see you there! taken in Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center by @derdraws
