I dunno started hating it halfway through, I’m not very good at single stroke lettering I just end up “sculpting” the letters 😅 watched “Bedtime Stories” the other day for the second time. Trying not to leave unfinished ideas tumbling around so that I don’t keep tripping over same ideas and make way for the fresh. This quote has been rolling around my head since 08ish 🤔 by @derek.h.mit

In progress. Vectornator is no joke 😆 but it can feel a bit clunky at times, it doesn’t keep track of every move you make so time lapse is not full beginning to end. It’s missing some features and you’ll have to find different ways to pull off some looks, a solid vector app and it’s FREE!
.
.
Things I ran into...
There is no “gradient mesh” feature yet, tried blurring shapes and masking the shape but the shape inside the mask didn’t hold its blur.
.
There’s no “array tool” tough to array things with accuracy manually.
.
I’m sure the team behind the app is crazy busy sifting through feature requests and trying to develop the ones that make sense.

Cyberpunk/Daft Punk poster idea 🤘🏽😆 I think I want to do it all in vector. Possibly animate part of it 🤷🏽‍♂️ So hyped for Cyberpunk 2077. Said I would stop preordering, I just couldn’t help myself with this game 😅 would be rad to see daft punk in the game 🤘🏽😜

Did this shortly after he passed. A pic where he caught me taking pictures of him 😅 I just thought I’d be a goofy grandson and snap pics cause there’s not very many of him. I may revisit this and add color digitally or do it analog acrylic on canvas. ❤️ figure I’d share before something happened to the file. by @derek.h.mit

Started this long ago part of the way through decided to ditch the initial sketch and just work and experiment in color, then later decided to try and experiment with brushes cause I really don’t know how to use any other brush than the “technical pen” 😅 the simplest straightforward brush. I dunno what happened cause I had to adjust the proportions like crazy 😑 in the end I think I over worked it... was shooting for a looser painterly look. I’ll have to do a more serious portrait of Kung Fu Kenny I can’t just leave it at this one. 😆 Glad to called this “finished” and just let go of it. What y’all think? Any digital brush tips or tricks?
