✝️ - Born a sinner, saved by Christ

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Forever thankful for my friends at camp who made the hot weather not entirely unbearable 🙂

Even though I was finally able to work a full summer at camp, it still went by too fast. Nevertheless, I was rewarded with incredible friends from around the world that I hope to be able to see again someday.

Like always, having the privilege to perform in Jesus Theater is nothing short of a blessing and I hope that the work my fellow JT crew and I have done this summer plants even the smallest mustard seed of faith in the hearts of the campers.

I’d love to come back next year but I guess I’ll have to wait and see what college beholds 🙏 taken in Camp Wonderland by @derek_hu7

4/16/24 - My Baptism, a promise to myself that I will live out the rest of my days as a follower of Christ.

Shhh… recording in session🎙️🎥

Had a wonderful time with @acf.roc students along with UofR music students Saturday evening recording some gospel praise. Cannot wait to work with them again in this beautiful studio they have here in the university of Rochester. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes video and deep dives into the creation of our various projects. All glory be to God.

Crazy to say that this was my last season of having the honor to be a marching black knight.

I couldn’t think of a better group of friends to have gone out with. It is my pleasure to have had the privilege to march alongside my drumline, who is among the most persistent and talented group of individuals I have ever met. Like any family, we’ve had our arguments, but we’ve also shared some incredible moments together.

Going into drumline following my colorguard career, I had no idea what to expect. In a way, I took a gamble; if there was nothing for me in drumline, it probably would’ve been my last season in marching band. Fortunately for me, I had an incredible instructor, Mr. Conant, who was the first one to truly welcome me. From then on, it was a journey uphill. The following year, I was appointed section leader, and was expected to lead a group of (mostly) middle schoolers. As impossible as it seemed, I learned what it meant to be a good section leader, and went as far as to grow somewhat of a tolerance to them (I don’t know if I can ever say I like Austin or Xander).

Although the fall season is over, I have one more winter left in the tank with these amazing people, and I plan on making the most of it. by @derek_hu7

Wonderland ‘24 ✅

Despite it being a summer at Camp Wonderland being cut short by an excursion to the Mediterranean, I still made a ton of friends and am blessed to have met my boys.

It was definitely great to have had the opportunity to grow in my faith with Christ over this summer, and I couldn’t think of a better group of people to have done it with. Only time will tell, but perhaps an uninterrupted 2025 season at the Happy Summer Place is in the works 🤞 by @derek_hu7
