Happy Birthday, my dear brother, Victor

Today I celebrate not just the day you were born, but the incredible man you have become. You have always been a shining example of kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Your heart for others and your willingness to lead with humility and strength continue to inspire everyone around you especially me.

You have consistently shown what it means to love selflessly and to stand firm in faith. As the Bible reminds us, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity” (Proverbs 17:17). You have truly lived this out, always present, always dependable, and always lifting others up when they need it most.

Your leadership is not just in words, but in action. You lead with integrity, compassion, and wisdom, reflecting the truth of “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant” (Matthew 20:26). Through your life, you have shown that true greatness comes from serving others with a genuine heart.

On this special day, I pray that God continues to bless you abundantly. May He guide your steps, strengthen your spirit, and grant you the desires of your heart. As it is written, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you” (Numbers 6:24–25).

Thank you for being the amazing brother that you are. I am grateful for you beyond words, and I look forward to seeing all that God has in store for your life.

Happy Birthday once again may this new year bring you joy, peace, favor, and continued greatness.

With love always,

My Unforgettable Experience in Morocco 🇲🇦

Recently, I had the privilege of visiting Morocco, and it turned out to be one of the most remarkable vacations I’ve ever had. I was completely captivated by the nation’s high standard of living, its impressive infrastructural development, and above all, the quality and meticulous maintenance of its road network.

Throughout my stay, I found myself observing the highways with curiosity; searching for a single crack or pothole — yet, to my astonishment, I found none. The roads were immaculate, a true testament to Morocco’s commitment to excellence in public works and urban planning.

Beyond its infrastructure, what truly touched my heart were the people; gentle, peaceful, and overflowing with warmth and kindness. Everywhere I went, I was greeted with genuine hospitality and grace.

Equally inspiring was the deep affection and loyalty Moroccans have for their monarch, His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Everyone I met spoke of him with admiration and gratitude, crediting his vision and leadership for much of the country’s progress and stability.

I was also deeply impressed by the nation’s investment in sports development, particularly in football. From newly built world-class stadiums to well-equipped neighborhood sports complexes, it was clear that Morocco is nurturing its youth and building a powerful sporting culture.

I was so moved by this passion for football that I decided to adopt Morocco as a team I’ll always support. Before leaving, I proudly purchased the official national jersey for my son and I, a small token of our newfound connection to this beautiful nation.

And as fate would have it, just yesterday Morocco won its first Under-20 World Cup title, a victory that only confirms what I already believe: Morocco is destined to be a major force in global football, and a serious contender in the 2026 World by @derekdokun

Nigeria at 65: Beyond the Number

Today, Nigeria marks 65 years of independence. But the true measure of a nation’s maturity is not in its age, but in its ability to position itself for prosperity within the community of nations. Age alone does not guarantee progress — vision, planning, and execution do.

Shortcomings We Must Acknowledge
After six and a half decades, the gaps are still visible. Power supply remains inconsistent, leaving industries and households dependent on generators. Our road networks, critical for commerce and safety, are in many places dilapidated. Access to clean water is still a challenge for millions of households, while schools in rural areas often lack the basic tools needed to nurture the next generation. These shortcomings hinder productivity, investment, and human development.

Notable Achievements
And yet, to speak only of our failings would be unfair. Nigeria has made notable strides. We remain Africa’s largest economy by GDP and a leading voice on the continent. Our entertainment industry — Nollywood and Afrobeats — has captured global attention, reshaping cultural narratives. Nigerians in the diaspora continue to excel, contributing billions of dollars annually in remittances and raising our profile on the global stage. We have also shown resilience — surviving civil war, military dictatorships, and numerous economic challenges.

The Way Forward
At 65, Nigeria stands at a crossroads. We must shift from dependence on oil to a diversified economy powered by technology, agriculture, and innovation. Investment in reliable infrastructure — roads, power, water — must move from rhetoric to reality. Education must become a true national priority, equipping our young population not just for survival, but for leadership in a rapidly changing world. Above all, good governance and accountability remain the foundation for lasting change.

The age of a nation matters little without progress. For Nigeria, the next chapter must be about transformation — building a country where prosperity is not a privilege for the few, but a shared reality for the many.
