POSTS STORIES REELS

Sometimes I visit my roots to see family, attend games, and film weddings. This one was particularly special as I Had the privilege of filming one of my sister’s wedding down in Mississippi 🥺

Here’s a preview using a few visual frames documenting their day. From my lens to your eyes

Bride: @_itss.kobie
Groom: @angelopicus
Videographer: @dereklamarstudios

$Your portraits are the quietest part of the wedding day. For a few minutes, it’s just the two of you, away from the crowd and the timeline. Photos capture how you look in that moment. Film captures how it felt: the laughs, the whispers, the way you look at each other when no one’s watching. Don’t let your videographer sit this one out. Side note: the Pyxis 12k//Dzo film Arles Prime are one of the best combos of all time {this was filmed in 8k} Venue: Overhills Mansion @whaitehousecaterers Event Coordinators @loladivinevents Videography @dereklamardp Photography @mfieldsphotography Brides Dress & Vail @grace_loves_lace Grooms Suit @menswearhouse Brides Makeup Artist @kendrablissbeauty Brides Hair Stylist @locjoy.style Decorator @dcatevents Florist @radebaughs Photobooth @spixebooth All Stationery @toluakingbe Cake @dandjbakery Caterer @whaitehousecaterers MC @mrpeterock DJ @djbaggins #dmvweddingvideographer #dcweddingvideographer #dcweddings #marylandweddings #blackmagicpyxis12k by @dereklamarstudios$

Behind the lens vs. what ended up in the film 🎥

This entrance had the whole tent on its feet. I’ll admit that I’m a little paranoid about walking backwards but ot was worth it…. This time

By far one of my favorite couples to work for and reassure the passion I have of genuinely making people happy through filmmaking. A few snippets of day 1 of Tayo and Devon celebration.

Nothing better than filming a couple who just naturally flow as one cohesive unit. Reflecting back on memories and being to capture in real time is why I love doing this. I can’t wait for the wedding 🥹
