Our Italian wedding turned into our very own Disney movie moment when we did our first dance to Lizzie McGuire’s “What Dreams Are Made Of”… and we regret nothing 🇮🇹✨ Shoutout to our choreographer @rosariaviv who helped us pull this together in just eight classes (plus LOTS of at-home practice). Still pinching ourselves that we got married at my cousin @francesca_masterchefit12 and @leopoldopapi's family vineyard @enoteca_pakravanpapi — with their friends @osteriadelpinzagrilli cooking the entire four-course dinner and @pasticceriaprincipececina building a live tiramisu wedding cake with us!!!! Couldn't have pulled this off without our amazing wedding planner @serenagrecoevents, the incredible musical stylings of @damianosardimusic and so appreciative to @screenshot_production and @matteo_innocenti_photography for capturing the night. This is most definitely what dreams are made of 💚🤍❤️ #lizziemcguire #hilaryduff #firstdance #firstdancehusbandandwife #whatdreamsaremadeof❤️ by @derekswitaj

Harsh light, no mercy.
But sometimes it hits exactly where it should.
Right after the church exit that unforgiving sun turned into an ally, carving lines, highlighting movement, and letting the bride’s legs steal the scene. Not every perfect moment comes with soft light.
 Some come with character. (and a beautiful couple always help! ❤️ ) www.mipstudiowedding.com #WeddingInTuscany #TuscanyWedding #TuscanyWeddingVenue #RistonchiCastleWedding #TuscanyElopement #TuscanyWeddingPhotography #TuscanyWeddingPhotographer #DestinationWeddingPhotographer #ItalianWeddingPhotographer #FineArtWeddingPhotography #LuxuryWeddingInTuscany #GettingMarriedInItaly #ItalyWeddingPhotographer #LoveInTuscany #EuropeanDestinationWedding taken in Tuscany, Italy by @derekswitaj

From Tuscany to The Hollywood Reporter — feeling endlessly grateful for our family, friends, and the love that made this day unforgettable. Truly a magical day that felt like a movie!💚🤍❤️ It was such an honor to have our wedding hosted by our cousins @francesca_masterchefit12 and @leopoldopapi at their venue @enoteca_pakravanpapi, after a beautiful Church ceremony in the picturesque town of Montescudiao. Fun Fact: It is Italian tradition for the bride to walk to the church on the wedding day, but after the first look, the entire bridal party walked up to the church together which led to this epic shot! . . . Special thanks to @matteo_innocenti_photography and @chrisl920, @lamarcomcclendon for recommending us to @hollywoodreporter! 🌿 Francesca, Leo, and Chiara – Pakravan Papi Thank you for opening up your slice of paradise to us. You’re not just Derek’s family—you’re now my family, too. You gave us this opportunity, this gift we can never repay, and we are endlessly grateful. Francesca, your incredible cooking and preparation for our rehearsal dinner made us feel so loved and welcomed. Chiara, thank you for facilitating the wine tour and tastings with Nina and for coordinating hotel stays for our family to stay on campus and get to know each other all day long with @icarogna73. Leo, thank you for keeping us informed on all the weather updates and helping us put our wine labels on bottles—you went above and beyond. And Laura, thank you for helping out with the dinner. We are so indebted to all of you, and we are so excited to come back for anniversaries to relive these magical moments. We feel unbelievably blessed and highly favored. by @derekswitaj

You know what I’ve always loved about you, Derek? Your ability to dream big—like, really big—and your relentless drive to see it come to life! From the moment I met you, you were not just dreaming — you were doing! And now, from this moment forward, you and Walt Disney will forever share one magical thing in common: it all started with a mouse. 🐭✨ Sorry (not sorry!) for being a little cheesy, but I’m beyond proud of my @derekswitaj. This Christmas special is so well deserved and a long time coming. Your creativity, your drive, your heart—it all shows. I’m just so lucky I get to celebrate this moment with you (even though it’s June) —❤️ by @derekswitaj

So excited this has finally been announced - so proud of what we’re making! Mr. Charles Entertainment Cheese is getting into TV showbiz with “The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special,” a new project produced by UTA and Stampede Ventures’ kid-focused HappyNest Entertainment. The TV special, which is currently in production with a release date scheduled for this holiday season, marks the first time the Chuck E. Cheese brand has been adapted into an animated special. Written and executive produced by Zac Moncrief and Jon Coltan Barry (“Phineas & Ferb,” “Be Cool Scooby-Doo!”), “The Chuck E. Cheese Christmas Special” boasts a voice cast that includes Nathan Kress (“iCarly”) in the titular role of Chuck E. Cheese, as well as Grey Griffin (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”), Nolan North (“Uncharted”), Kari Wahlgren (“Rick & Morty”) and Fred Tatasciore (“Kung Fu Panda 2”). Per Chuck E. Cheese IP owner Chuck E. Cheese Entertainment, the special “is not just a seasonal moment — it’s the beginning of a long-term vision to transform beloved characters into a storytelling universe for today’s kids and families.” “This latest venture marks a strategic content expansion for Chuck E. Cheese, just as the brand has been reimagined for the latest generation of kids, launched a licensing division that currently has over 30 licensee partners in retail, novelty gift, toys, books and more, and engages with over 40M kids and families every year across its nearly 600 fun centers around the world,” the company says. The TV event will feature a new Christmas song co-written by Barry, Moncrief, composer Ben Bromfield (“Ginny & Georgia”), and Barry’s father, Jeff Barry. “This is more than just a TV special — it’s a milestone moment for the Chuck E. Cheese brand,” Chuck E. Cheese’s vice president of global media, licensing and entertainment Melissa McLeanas said. “We’re entering the entertainment arena in a way that builds on our nostalgic legacy while charting a new future for our characters as a storytelling franchise.” by @derekswitaj

Why Tuscany? Well, it wasn’t part of the plan—at least not the original plan. Derek and I met at the Phoenix Bar in California, and he swept me off my feet in January 2019. Fast forward to our engagement in December 2022, and we had our sights set on Philadelphia. We were so close to putting down a deposit when we got a call that changed everything. Derek’s cousin, Francesca, reached out with a once-in-a-lifetime offer: her family’s agriturismo, Tenuta Pakravan-Papi, as our wedding venue! Pinch me, is this real? - After we visited and fell completely in love with the rustic charm, the rolling vineyards, and that golden Tuscan sunlight, we knew this was it. So now, we’re gearing up for August 30, 2025, with a mix of excitement, butterflies, and the thrill of planning our very own Italian fairytale. - From the quaint farmhouses and vineyard views to the family-run restaurant where Derek’s cousin, Francesca, is the chef, Tenuta Pakravan-Papi has a special magic to it. - So if you’re up for a little adventure, a lot of love, and a few cin-cins under the Tuscan sun, we can’t wait to celebrate with you in Italy! taken in Tenuta Pakravan Papi by @derekswitaj
