Being an Amsterdam based international collective, Trytone has been home for adventurous jazz, improvised music and contemporary composition since 1998. As a platform with the spirit for musicians to stay in control of their sound and direction, last year we started our regular concert series after a break. 28 June marks the one year anniversary of these twice a month events which hosted a wide range of musicians across genres and generations, and we’d like to celebrate this milestone with a special edition featuring the full Trytone collective, alongside an exceptional group of guests. 🎶Kom op zondag 28 juni genieten van frisse klanken bij ‘Wanderlust’, een maandelijks terugkerend live muziek evenement. Dit keer met Hongaarse muziek door Dodó Kis @dodokis en gitaarmuziek door braem @braemmusic Entree is gratis, én er is gratis soep! Inloop vanaf 16:00, eerste concert begint 16:30. 📍In PLEINKAMER, Lambertus Zijlplein 7. Over de muzikanten: braem Gedurende meer dan twee decennia bouwde braem (Bram Stadhouders) een internationaal erkende carrière op, waarin hij zich bewoog tussen elektrische gitaar, hedendaagse ensembles, improvisatie en nieuwe technologieën, met optredens in meer dan vijftig landen. Op een gegeven moment diende zich echter een andere stem aan. Een oudere, meer persoonlijke impuls die ooit de reden was om te beginnen met componeren. Na jaren van stedelijk leven volgde een bewuste terugtrekking. Naarmate de omgeving stiller werd, keerde ook de rust in het denken terug. In die stilte vond de klassieke gitaar uit de jeugd opnieuw zijn weg. Daar ontstond braem — niet als een nieuwe richting, maar als een herinnering. Muziek die zich vormt zonder nadruk op ambitie of complexiteit, maar gedragen wordt door geduld, intimiteit en aandacht. Dodo Kis Dodó Kis neemt je mee op een muzikale reis door Hongarije, waar klassieke meesterwerken, hedendaagse composities en levendige volksmelodieën samensmelten op de betoverende klanken van de blokfluit. Op het programma staan werken van onder anderen Béla Bartók, Zoltán Kodály, Adam Kondor, János Bali en Dodó Kis. Tijdens het concert deelt Dodó Kis verhalen en historische achtergronden, waardoor luisteraars worden meegenomen op een muzikale reis van volkswortels naar de muziek van vandaag. by @derevi89
