When I received the leading to write this book, I didn’t know how to begin. I did not see myself as a writer.
But I yielded to the hands of the Potter, and I have witnessed what God can do with a yielded life.

Broken Pieces in Jars of Clay is a story of transformation—of how fragile people are strengthened by God.
It speaks of what it means to be held, helped, and reshaped by Him.

This book changed me.
The Derin who began writing in 2025 is not the same woman today.
God truly helps men. He truly makes men.
And He will make you too.

As you read these pages, I pray healing flows to you.
I pray you begin to see yourself the way God sees you.
More than anything, my deepest cry is that you find true wholeness in the hands of the Father.

To believe is not to live by sight. To have faith is to be assured of His promises even when everything looks bleak. There is a reason the Bible says, “The just shall live by faith.” Faith is not just a way of life; it is life itself. To stop believing is to die inherently, because faith keeps us connected to the God who is life. It is faith that enables us to hold on when circumstances tell us to let go, and to hope when there seems to be no reason to hope.
