Find the things that you really enjoy to do
(for me is filming and color grading) try to take inspo from others without copy paste them and transform your creations in something you are really proud of.

This is the space i wish i had when i started as a freelance filmmaker.

A place to learn the real side of video making — the problems, the slow days, the moments where you have to figure it out on your own.

Nobody tells you what freelance filmmaking actually looks like behind the scenes. the uncertainty, the hustle, the creative process that never really stops.
i’m not here because i have all the answers, i’m here because i’ve been through enough to share something real — and i’m still learning every single day.

This is “it’s part of the process” a series about the reality of building a creative career in filmmaking, and honestly, this series itself is part of mine.

if any of this resonates and you’re figuring it out too, follow the journey 🫶🏼 by @derioshots
