Flying free - went to the beach last week to run, swim and dance in front of @derkeisderke camera🌊📸🌻 ~and now for some music news~ Monday, October 19th - Movement Meditation with Live Music at De Dijktheater. Movement guided by @skargapolina and live music from yours truly @erika_ms_music 🦋 Polina leads her classes with care and sensitivity for what moves people. There is a sense of trust and excitement that you can really feel when we get to be in a room together, with Polina leading. If you’ve been curious to dance intuitively and move with others, please come join us! I feel a deep sense of calm and presence after the classes that lasts multiple days. The power is in the doing. Friday, November 13th - Freaky Folk and Improvised concert at Zaal100. I will be opening the evening solo, playing my most tender and spooky songs to welcome in the dark winter season and to warm up the night for @parkland.music.project As you may know, I have been playing a growing collection of original songs with guitar for the past few years. During COVID I made a dream of mine come true and bought myself an acoustic guitar. These songs are the result of playing and creating with this instrument, filled with scenes, memories, grief and discoveries of growing up and moving on. Every chance to share them invites me into those memories, so for me, these songs are a portal. I hope to see you at one or both gatherings! If you’re curious, don’t hesitate to reach out🦋 by @derkeisderke
Listen with 🎧 to step into the fairy realm 🧚‍♀️🌿✨ . . If you’ve been following my proces you know by now that I find it intimidating to make videos for my own project, and I want to outgrow this! So yesterday I went into the forest with @derkeisderke to experiment with filming without any specific expectations. The idea was that we’d make something fairy/witchy like. It was fun to roam through the forest, feel like we were creating something and frolic like I usually do :) Today I took these images as the inspiration for producing this soundtrack and I’ve been in another universe creating this✨🧚‍♀️ just woke up from my hyper focus being very hungry, dehydrated and realized I was in a not so ergonomic position producing and editing everything 😂 but ah, I love it. It is like connecting to something bigger then myself❤️🌿🌳 . .
